"We had seen Kanata hotels throughout our trip in Canada. This was our first time staying at one. The room was so well appointed, and clean. Front desk staff were kind and helpful. If you are a coffee drinker you'll be in coffee heaven as there is a large coffee bar with multiple options, available 24/7. "Attended a weekend conference for model railroad enthusiasts at this hotel. First off they laughed when I said "Where is the lake?" There is no lake to view at this Lakeview Hotel, there is a wee bit of a slough a few blocks away. This hotel is adequate, I guess. Hope the event organizers got a good deal for hosting costs. Hotel audiovisual equipment failed - NFP club had to buy a new projector and borrow portable sound system. I paid $45 for a banquet ticket, should have grabbed a burger...

"Room was ok, although the door sometimes wouldn’t open due to the frame being out of whack. The ice machine on our floor was in about 10 pieces on the floor in a pile. It said it had a pool but it has been closed so no swim for the kids. The caulking around the tub was black and needs to be replaced. Lots of parking, decent breakfast. Won’t be back."

"The staff are, as always, excellent! Friendly, efficient, considerate! They are to be commended!!!! I greatly appreciated the proximity of Room 122 and its spaciousness; however, it doesn’t have a towel rack which isn’t the norm. I used the robe hook on the bathroom door in lieu of it for face-cloths. The other minor critique is that one of the lampshades was locked in place crooked, so I was unable to move the finial to adjust the one table lamp. "The location was close to the highway with lots of dining options nearby. There was plenty of parking out front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Small complaint about the TV - I couldn't just turn it on and watch the network channels. I didn't ask for help from the front desk but ... should I have to? Written directions would be helpful for less tech-minded visitors."
