"I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!"
"Lovely setting, lovely staff, very good food, nice views. Pool was not well maintained, and the first floor in the otherwise lovely apartment with seaview that we had, was not cleaned recently. That gave a little too many insects in the room and we decided to stay just one night. It felt like the manager was on holidays, and they were not busy, since we were the only guests in the hotel at the time. Beware 4x4 is adviseable to get the last 2 kilometres from highway to crater rim."
"We had a wonderful stay at this lodge and the views of Queen Elizabeth NP was stunning! LOCAL food was good and stick to that when you order. The bathroom was beautiful and there was a bathtub and plenty of hot water. WiFi was not good. Sorry.
But all in all this lodge comes with our warmest recommendation! "
"Nice properly with beautiful green natural surroundings. Staff for dining were very slow. Buffet items were finished or cold when we got there and no effort to refill. Lunch only given choice of a la carte while others had buffet with lot of choice.Hans kept refusing any orders we requested as vegetarian including making a sandwich which despite explaining thoroughly he got it wrong. "
