"Very nice one night stay near Isle of Skye.
There were no restaurant on the hotel and on a sunday almost everything nearby was closed.
We shopped at a grocery store and was able to use the breakfast lounge, cutlery and wine glasses were supplied so we could have a nice dinner. Great service 👍"

"We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the top floor and very small with a slanted ceiling and the bed was a small double bed so we weren’t that comfortable. The second night we stayed in one of the bigger deluxe rooms on the first floor, which was much nicer. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. "

Not only could you hear when the neighbouring guests used the toilets, but the drain in our room would sound like we flushed the toilet ourselves. When guests upstairs walked around it sounded like the ceiling was coming down on you. When guests next door sneezed, it was as if they were right next to you. Although the room offered a temperature control, this was pointless as there was no...

Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). "

"Paul met us at the property and talked us through all the cottages features and discussed the local area. Cottage was immaculate and spotless. Very comfortable beds and a great nights sleep. If you are doing the NC500, then this is a perfect stopover and very tranquil. Would highly recommend."

"The hotel seems a bit old but this didn’t matter too much since the staff were extremely friendly and we were assigned a big apartment with an excellent view over Loch Ness. The restaurant also offered excellent food and service. "
"Stort hotel, der også tager store selskaber ind. Men morgenmads restauranten kan ikke følge med efterspørgslen på visse morgenmads retter som f.eks. æg. Derudover skifter de håndklæder hver anden dag, hvilket ikke er godt for miljøet. Men gør det sikkert i bedste mening.
Gammeldags udseende hotel, venlige og service mindede personale. Rent og pænt. Vil gerne bruge det igen. "

We booked the family room for our family of six and it looked exactly like the pictures.
The floors were a bit old and quite noisy which is charming but not so much when the guests in upstairs room dance and jump after a night out long after our bedtime 😬
We were cold at night and there weren’t any extra blankets.
The atmosphere in the restaurant were nice but not for families with small children but great for a quiet adult dinner."
