"The pictures don’t lie. Very dated hotel, bulky old furniture, old bathrooms. I stayed there with colleagues so did not choose it myself and will not go back. The breakfast was reasonable, but had terrible service one morrning. We waited 25 minutes for coffe (asked for it 3 times), and the guy serving had no clue what he was doing.
On the positive side the staff in the reception was very friendly and serviceminded. And the gym is quite nice. "

"Just amazing people from the maid to the waiter to the front desk to the manager. Room is nice (great bed and beautiful bathroom) and very conveniently located (restaurants and Safeway in walking distance). The hotel restaurant has outdoor seating (in California weather!). "The hotel did not live up to the reviews at all. The AC could not be turned off, so it was a constant 28 degrees in the room. None of the channels worked. We got a new room twice, but it didn't help with the missing TV channels.
Besides the three shortcomings mentioned above, their Hot tub is turned off and decommissioned, even though their pictures on their website show otherwise.
There was a lot of noise from the ventilation system out in the hallway, even though we had switched off ours in the room.
The cleaning was inadequate and the hotel is very worn. Can't recommend this hotel. We have still not received compensation from Hotels.com, to which the hotel says we must complain."
