Easy access to all the great wineries! "I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. "We travel with a dog and request a first floor room which they have accommodated us with. Checkin is very easy . I love that the room has no carpet because it makes the room feel cleaner. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is a nice size. The refrigerator is a good size but lacks a freezer section. We travel with ice packs for the cooler and would like to be able to refreeze them.
