Boonara comprises two dwellings on the one property — Boonara House (the main residence) and Boonara Studio, located just to the rear. The Studio is only made available when booked together with the House for larger groups. We do not rent the Studio to separate guests while the House is occupied, so the property is always reserved for one booking group at a time.
While the House and Studio are separate buildings, they are positioned in close proximity and share the same outdoor areas and driveway access. For this reason, the layout is best suited to one group travelling together rather than guests seeking privacy between the two spaces.
Configuration options: • Up to 6 adults + 2 Bathrooms — Main House only • 8 adults — Main House + Studio (Studio included at no additional charge)
If the Studio is not included in your booking, it will remain securely locked and unoccupied for the duration of your stay.

Set along Wentworth Fall`s most sought-after streets, Boonara House is a beautifully restored c.1895 cottage where heritage charm meets modern comfort. From the moment you arrive, the home makes an impression, a classic white picket fence, established cottage gardens, and a façade that has been carefully preserved to honour its history.
Inside, the home has been thoughtfully renovated to balance original character with a calm, elevated sense of comfort. High ceilings, wide timber floorboards and soft natural light create a feeling of openness throughout, while carefully chosen furnishings add warmth and texture.
At the center of the home, the fully renovated kitchen is equipped with everything you might need during your stay, making it just as suited to slow mornings with coffee as it is to long, relaxed dinners with family and friends. The open-plan living and dining area is designed for connection and ease, anchored by a large wood-burning fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere during the cooler months. Expansive windows and skylights fill the space with natural light, while the Smart TV with complimentary Netflix offers a relaxed option for evenings in.
The home features central heating throughout, complemented by the wood burning fireplace in the living room for added warmth and ambience. It offers three well appointed bedrooms:
Primary Bedroom: Queen bed with private ensuite Second Bedroom: Queen bed Third Bedroom: Two single beds
For larger groups, the separate Studio offers a queen bed, private bathroom, a comfortable living area with Smart TV and complimentary Netflix, along with a kitchenette and dining table. A wood burning fireplace and portable oil heaters in the bedroom ensure a warm and cosy stay during the cooler months. Guests wishing to include the Studio must select eight guests when booking.
A central family bathroom within the main house features a freestanding bath and separate shower, ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the mountains.
Large bi fold doors open from the dining area onto a private patio, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. The landscaped garden offers a sense of space and calm, with established greenery and cool climate plantings enhancing the peaceful setting. Comfortable outdoor seating invites you to slow down and settle in, whether it is morning coffee in the sun, long lunches, or relaxed evenings under the open sky.
Please note:
1. The wood fireplace in the main living room is available for guests to use with some firewood supplied by your host. The fireplaces in the bedroom and front room are not operational and must not be used during your stay.
2. By completing this reservation you agree that: You will be required to complete our guest verification portal including signing our Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”), providing a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card on our verification portal at the time of booking. Per our Agreement, a hold of $1000 will be placed on your credit card as a Security Deposit 3 days before your Check-In Date.
Your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal. Please note: to confirm this booking you will be required to sign our Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”), provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card on our verification portal at the time of booking.
