"I’ve stayed here previously, always appreciate the warm welcome from staff, explained everything thoroughly….very comfortable room, slept well! There is live music and there were a lot of people having a great time, finished at a reasonable time so no worries here. The only thing I would suggest that needs attention is the shower curtain, it created a musty smell in the bathroom. I’ll hopefully be back next year. "

The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. "My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a meal on the first night which was very good. Guinness pie with mash and an Angus burger. Food was served hot and was very tasty 😋 The room was clean and tidy with a big bathroom. One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc."

"Lovely clean and well maintained room. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was just continental (toast and jam/nutella, cereal, fruit and flavoured yoghurts) but as I'm diabetic they went out shopping and got me plain yoghurts and marmite for low sugar options."

"It it a really nice location with beautiful surroundings and the service and facilities are nice. Gym, spa and pool were good. The service weas excellent. Only thing to mention are the doors to the rooms that really needs a check. Really loud sqeeking and sound when you open and close. Could be heard loudly in the halls Likewise the doors in the rooms. ALso the food in the restaurant should be improved to match the price. Too simple servings. But I recommend to try the place !"
