"Very disapointed with our stay. Hotel is out of date and is in need of severe modernization. Every 5 minutes, there is a huge 30 second mechanical sound, which almost shook the entire room, making it impossible to sleep despite ear plugs. Breakfast was poor and grossly overpriced. The only upside is the big parking space and easy access to the highway. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway! The cottage was impeccably clean and cozy. It was perfectly appointed with modern amenities, yet it still retained its classic coastal charm. Waking up to breathtaking views of the water right from our room was the highlight of the trip. The innkeepers were incredibly accommodating. A huge bonus for us was the kayaks on the property. The availability of clean lifejackets was a plus. We can’t wait to go back and relax."

"On the second night of our stay, when the hot water was turned on, the water was a light brown color. The morning we were leaving, the hot water was fine. The sink had a horrible smell throughout our stay. The breakfast was the best part of our stay (food was hot, lots on variety, etc)."

If you’re a family with older kids, keep this in mind. The gift shops and restaurant are extremely overpriced in my opinion. The Dunkin Donuts inside the property was over an hour behind with their food orders, so we had to leave it and come back and ask at a later time if they would still honor the food even though we had to leave and...
