"First time at a bed and breakfast. Very enjoyable and more important relaxing spot away from the craziness of the city. Room was perfect and I actually enjoyed the room not having a tv which was a great way to disconnect and I appreciate that! Would come back here again for a wine trip!"

Linda is a fantastic host and so very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed multiple nights. Of all the places we stayed during our vacation this was, by far, our favorite!! "We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint and luxurious bed-and-breakfast. There were comfortable common areas to enjoy along with the complete privacy of your own room complete with coffee, tea, and a personal sized refrigerator. The hostess had the option to take breakfast to go with many drink and food items to choose from. She even accommodated our dietary and allergy restrictions. We thought the breakfast sliders were amazing!"

"This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!"

"Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. "This is easily the nicest rental we have ever stayed in!! The house is decorated very appropriately for the represented timeframe with modern consciences. It was a step back to my childhood! My daughters had a blast exploring all the antique items, toys,cash register, etc. The home is situated in a small town that is very safe and walkable. The outdoor space is just as nice as the inside! The owner was so helpful and responsive. He gave many helpful recommendations! The jail cell/wine...
