"Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. We are looking forward to booking again for next year."

"Excellent and dog-friendly! The host was thoughtful and quick to answer questions, and the house was lovely! We found the listing fairly last-minute and booked for just a quick one-night trip, but we'd love to go back! Our new favorite!"

"Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not...

"Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. "

"Clean, welcoming and pet friendly. The yurt has everything you need. We did not take advantage of the sauna this time. I would recommend staying here and we look forward to our next stay."

"This was a great little house to rent, good location, pet friendly, very comfortable bed, clean. Just a couple of suggestions for improvements: stock kitchen better with some necessities like dish soap(only a drop left in bottle and no dishwasher soap), lids for pans, tin foil, baggies, plastic wrap, oil for cooking. Provide a grill and some outdoor chairs. People renting should know there is a bar right next door so not very kid friendly due to noise at night on weekends with outdoor stage for...
