"Lovely property. Very clean and great location. Great outside area. Would suggest a couple of small improvements - spray and wipe for cleaning down surfaces, more dish cloths and some more shade/privacy in the master bedroom - it looks straight into the neighbours lounge and you don’t want to pull the whole blind down which darkens the room. "

"Perfect location for our overnight stay. My ex farmer parents loved the peace and outlook onto farm land. Protea Cottage is beautifully set up, great coffee, super clean and comfy! Heat pump was on which made for a cozy evening. Many thanks for the ease of access and great communication. An 11/10 from my Dad!"

"Forest House is warm, comfortable, spacious and attractively furnished. It is in a private and quiet setting close to Lake Ferry and Martinborough. The cleaning fee was on the high side for just 2 people, but it was very clean and well maintained and there was no problem keeping warm in winter with the fire and Air conditioning. Great communication, enjoyed our time at Forest House. Only thing we missed was a normal sized oven tray and a normal sized cheese grater! Other than that, perfect."

"The house was spacious, warm and well appointed. The house had all modern conveniences. Wood-burning fire put out a lot of heat and made our stay very relaxing and cosy. The master bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The whole house had plenty of room. The place was very clean when we entered. I’d come again, for a stay."
