The Waimea Beach Cottage (WBC) was the perfect place to stay. It was well-appointed with everything you need — beautiful towels, comfy mattresses and sheets, outdoor shower, and lovely backyard as described. You even have your own charming roosters (bring earplugs and you’ll be fine). The ocean was a short distance to the back and the main street was a block away. From small, local merchants, one can find tasty shaved ice, smoothies, coffee, burgers, tacos, burritos, and more by walk-in or driving a few minutes. It is conveniently located to visit the Canyon, Kaua’i Coffee Company, Hanapepe Friday Art Night, and Captain Andy’s at Port Allen. For anyone wanting to experience the charm of small town Hawai’i away from resorts, immerse yourself in culture, and have comfortable amenities at an affordable price, WBC is the place for you.
