Smukke Oceanfront Condo på West Side Oahu. Spektakulære solnedgange

ALOHA, er dette smukke, hvide sandstrand foran hjem beliggende, lige foran Turtle Cove Beach. Ikke at nævne, at det også er tæt på den verdensberømte Makaha Surf Beach. Selvfølgelig alle strande på den vestlige side er smukke og er en af ​​Oahu bedst bevarede hemmeligheder. Vores Condo er en perfekt get-away, ferie. Du kan høre bølgerne kommer ind i kysten hele natten lang og nogle gange kan du vågne op for at se stort havskildpadder eller delfiner svømme rundt. Du kan endda se en søvnig sæl deler vores sandstrand, i de tidlige morgentimer. I månederne fra november til april, giver mulighed for at se hvaler, lige uden for surf. Denne rolige spektakulære halv mile beach er fantastisk til snorkling. Hvis du er på udkig efter afslapning, smukke hvide sandstrande (der ikke galede), og fantastisk til svømning og snorkling? DETTE ER DET!
Det er kun en 1 mile væk fra Makaha Champion Golf Course, Aulani Disney Resort og Ko'Olina Resort, herunder deres verdensklasse Golf Course, mange butikker og fine restauranter. Umiddelbart i det samme område, kan du også nyde Paradise Cove, en favorit polynesisk show, og Luau. En anden aktivitet dagtimerne er vores Wet & Wild Water Park, blot et par minutter øst for Ko'Olina Resort. Der er også Costco på vej og lokale butikker.

Right on the beach

Spent a month here and loved it. Tracy was the perfect host. Her main goal was to insure we were happy. The place is literally on the beach. Very few people there during the week and not many more on the weekends. Everybody we encountered there was super friendly. The road out front can be noisy sometimes with loud motors or sirens but the sound of the waves is all I heard in the bedroom. You sleep around 100 feet from the ocean. We would stay here again.

Perfect relaxing beachfront rental

Tracy is so kind and accommodating! The property is cute and you cannot beat the sunset views! I would absolutely stay again and cannot recommend it enough. The location is a bit far from everything, but that means you avoid the beach crowds!

5 Star Vacation Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Condo. It was equipped with everything you could need or want. Snorkel equipment, beach chairs, binoculars. The patio faces west for enjoying spectacular sunsets over your private beach.

Ocean front paradise

What a find! We totally loved Tracy's condo - outfitted with everything we could ever need and in a setting that was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped, including shopping bags, drinks in the fridge and a pound of local coffee. We cooked fewer meals than we'd expected given the access to great local takeout that we enjoyed in the best ocean front dining available anywhere - the condo lanai. The lanai has plenty of sitting and dining space. The beach was sparsely used, making it an ideal and quiet place to spend our days watching whales, turtles, dolphins and a wayward monk seal who used it as a rest stop one day. Easy access to hiking at Ka'ena and Lahilahi points and, timed appropriately, really didn't have problems with the traffic in getting up to North Shore and over to Diamond and Koko Head hiking. The layout of the condo is perfect, with the bedroom on the ocean side, where the waves drown out the street noise you get in the living room. The condo was super clean and recently updated with beautiful flooring throughout and a large tile shower. It's clear Tracy takes great care with the condo and attention to her guests. As noted in other reviews, we too saw homeless but absolutely no problems and we saw alot of work being done by County workers and a group of neighbors to cleanup a nearby encampment and restore beach access and hiking area. We loved the low-key vibe of the west side, perfect weather and a local-feel (not resort-style) vacation which fit us perfectly. Thanks, Tracy - we can't wait to return!

A wonderful place to stay for a month.

First an overview of the area and property. If you have done some research you have read about the area not being safe. Well yes there is homeless living in tents, but that is all over Oahu. Really they keep to themselves. And yes the traffic is crazy all over the island. Condo very safe, you need a key fob to get into the gated parking area, you need a key fob to get into the gated condo and also in the elevator and a key or pass code to your room..Security on duty at night. Bradley does a great job keeping everything neat and clean around the condo. Laundry facility very nice and very clean. Beach so...beautiful, waves can be a little rough at times. Tracy provides everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach. Sunsets on the balcony superb and morning coffee the best. Kitchen very well stocked, bed very comfy, apt furnishing very nice and great wi-fi. We spent our days on the beach, going out to eat. A luau at Paradise Cove (great). Driving to Haleiwa a fun day of shopping and the Food Trucks. Farmers Market every Saturday morning to buy fresh fruit, fish and veggies or Malasada (doughnuts) so good. Attended a most welcoming church Scared Heart Catholic Church. We met so many nice people at the condo. All in all a great experience. Mahalo Tracy for making sure all was good. I was stationed in Kaneohe during my time in the Navy 11 or so years ago, i learned of the Makaha beach cabanas when my parents lucked upon them when searching for a place to stay to come visit me, so when my opportunity to return to Oahu for my 5th anniversary/ really late honeymoon came i knew where i wanted to be. Tracy's condo is perfect in every respect i can think of, it's well appointed and furnished and a perfect location, the price per night is fantastic, she has provided nearly every amenity you could need at least for the wife and me. The beach is amazing, it's perfectly situated to watch the sunset straight in front of you from the comfy balcony or sitting in the sand, the sound of waves crashing all night is wonderful and swimming with the turtles and gorgeous fish of the shallow reef is awesome, I didn't take the opportunity but apparently the hike up Turtle rock is definitely worth the walk for the view of the valley and reef, I was too busy lounging in the surf. Tracy, the staff, and other tenants are very welcoming and accommodating, I literally cannot praise our choice of vacation rental enough. From Makaha it's a bit of a drive to Waikiki but who wants to hang out there when Oahu offers so much more than the crowds of tourists and souvenir shops. I cannot wait till i have another opportunity to visit Oahu and I will be looking for Tracy's condo again, mahalo from South Carolina, and enjoy your stay as much as we did. Also try any of the nearby restaurants in Wainae and Kapolei there are many and all i tried didn't disappoint.

Tracy's condo had everything necessary to make life at a beach front property as close to home.

This was our first time to Hawaii. Mostly there for our daughter 's soccer tournament so didn't get to do as much sightseeing as we would have liked. But to be able to watch sunsets from the lanai, watch sea turtles without having to go to the tourist stops and the weather being perfect the entire time. Coming back to Tracy's condo after a long day at the soccer fields was relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely come back.

30th Anniversary trip to Hawaii

My wife and I stayed 9 days at this beautiful oceanfront condo. The condo is right on the beach. The balcony looks out to beach and ocean. We were able to go to sleep every night and wake up every morning listening to the waves with the balcony doors open. The beach was never crowded and we could walk down to the beach anytime we wanted. The condo is located a little far from the rest of the island activities but it is worth it.

Beautiful beach, lovely condo, good security. Makaha Beach Cabanas is the place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thanks for everything!

Amazing Sunsets and Whale Watching!!

Wow! Sunsets are just incredible, whale watching from the lanai, see turtles swimming along the waves! Stunning! This is the third time my husband and I stayed at the Cabanas and we love it here! Tracy was very friendly and accommodating, made the whole renting process a breeze! Her condo is beautifully decorated with everything we needed! Fully stocked kitchen, tons of beach toys and gear. We will definitely be back, it’s been amazing, Tracy!! Mahalo!!

We had a very good time at the condo. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Not only is it on the beach but the lani has the most perfect view. We ate all of our meals looking at the beach, the sunsets are also outstanding. I definitely recommend this location.

Sunset Oasis

Where do I begin? Everything described in Tracy's description is spot on. The condo is very clean and includes everything you need. Tracy met us when we arrived and explained the security system etc. The real features, in my estimation, are the view from the lanai, the exceptional beach that greets you immediately, along with gorgeous sunsets accompanied by the 'conch' players each evening,. The bummer....is that we have to return to dark skies and RAIN.

Incredible Escape from Busy Life

My husband and I booked this escape not knowing too much and were completely blown away! The location of the condo is just perfect... it is literally ON the beach! We arrived on Oahu with lists of activities to do and things to see. We ended up loving our location so much that we spent most days swimming, snorkeling and reading right on the beach by the condo. Our favourite parts of the condo: - Fully stocked kitchen meant that we could cook our own meals (we bought food from Costco and Walmart 20 mins away) - Bed was super comfy - Condo had everything you need for the beach to make packing light - beach chairs, umbrella, pool noodles (to float in the ocean), snorkel gear, beach towels Other reviewers mentioned that it can be noisy. Sure, the living room can be noisy (traffic), but from the bedroom you can't hear anything. There isn't AC, but if you remember to keep the patio doors and front windows open the ocean breeze keeps the unit nice and cool through the day. There also isn't a ton of shopping/food right near the condo, that is a short drive away. But to be honest, this was our favourite part of this vacation. We loved that it was far away from the busy/commercial parts of Hawaii and was tucked amongst where locals live. If you want a quiet beach, peaceful sunset, and time to relax... this is your place! Friends of ours paid 3x the price to be in busy, crowded Waikiki and they were so jealous when they saw our pictures! We're already planning how to come back with friends next time!
