My 2 sisters and I from Canada stayed here for 2 nights and we had the most incredible experience. The food was incredible , the bubble cabin was so cozy, warm, clean, and comfortable , and the views from our room were amazing for stargazing and watching the sunset and sunrise. The owner and everyone working at the camp are soooo friendly , warm, welcoming , honest , funny and helpful. Everything was also very organized and the communication was very attentive. They were also very honest and trustworthy, no hidden fees or charges like most businesses do. Everything felt very private and relaxing and like a family vibe, very authentic experience. We had so much fun on the exursions that they organized for us , it was worth every penny. They even went above and beyond when they dropped us off back to our rental car., the nephew of the owner who works as a driver came with us to a local shop to buy some jackets that we wanted to purchase. We are sooo happy we picked this cabin over the others. I would recomend without hesitation to pick this camp if you want value for your money, to feel safe and comfortable , relaxed, have fun, have great views, and experience culture and taste amazing food. I also want to add that another cabin had kids and the business was very accomodating to them as well, they brought them hummus when they asked for it. They just went above and beyond in every way! I will forever remember these memories and this family feels special to us ❤️

Booked Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles was one of the best decision for my trip to Wadi Rum. There are hundreds of other bubble camps, to me, Wild Oryx is the best. There are only 5 camps, so you will receive personalized services. The camp is clean, nicely located that you can easily see sunrise from your camp. The food is great, they cooked traditional food on my last night with them. Eid, the owner is super friendly. He arranged transportation to pick me up from Amman to Petra, then to his place in Wadi Rum, and back to Amman. He is also an honest person. My kid likes wild oryx and the team a lot, and she wished we'd stay longer. Very recommended.

Wild Oryx was out of the way of other bubble camps which is what we wanted. We wanted quiet and no light pollution so that we could see the stars. Eid is the owner and very attentive. While planning I appreciated his quick and thorough responses. The camp is what is expected from a camp in the dessert. The food was good local food. The activities are great but pricey. The staff were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay.

our stay in this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we visited the welcome office, the owner made is feel care for and complete safe( which is the most importantly). His thoughtfulness and genuine concern for our confort made a huge difference throughout our stay. The staff was incredible attentive and dedicated. The location is absolutely fabulous-unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Ee could see the stars right from our room, and waking up to the sunrise from our beds was unforgettable. Other camps are close to village this is perfect because it further and not light around. My friend and I felt safe and enjoyed this experience. We highly recommend this hotel and will love to return.

The owner personally will greet you and escort you to the lodgings. He makes sure whatever you need, he'll make happen. Camp site has a beautiful view of pure desert and mountains, lovely stars at night.

We stayed at Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles for two nights, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip! The camp was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bubble room was absolutely gorgeous, offering both privacy and breathtaking views. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We absolutely recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Wadi Rum it’s unforgettable!

Eid was a great host, he made us feel welcomed. The location is secluded which allows for great stargazing. The jeep tour was the highlight of our Jordan visit. The food is outstanding. The domes have comfortable beds, AC and good WiFi. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I recommend a minimum of a two day stay, you won’t regret it.

An unforgettable couple’s escape at Wild Oryx Bubble Camp We’ve travelled to many incredible places around the world together, but our stay at Wild Oryx Bubble Camp was truly something special. From the moment we arrived in Wadi Rum, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at home. We drove ourselves to the meeting point, where Eid, the camp owner, greeted us with a huge smile and genuine hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. Before heading into the desert, he invited us into his home to relax over tea while showing us the different tour options — no pressure, just honest advice and care to make sure we chose exactly what we wanted. Our guides, Ata and Marwan, made the desert come alive for us. Their energy, humour, and stories added so much to the experience — and their photography skills were unbelievable! They captured some of our favourite photos from the trip, especially during the breathtaking sunset over the mountains, where the two of us watched the desert glow in complete peace. It felt like time stood still. Back at camp, Sayed had prepared a beautiful dinner that was bursting with flavour — easily one of the best meals we had in Jordan. Later, we sat under a blanket of stars, sipping Bedouin tea and talking late into the night, feeling so grateful for the experience and the people who made it so memorable. I’ve traveled all over the world and had some amazing experiences, but nothing compares to the hospitality I experienced at Wild Oryx Bubble Camp. As a solo traveler, it’s hard to explain just how welcomed, safe, and genuinely special I felt here — but I’ll try. From the moment I arrived, Eid, the camp owner, made me feel like I was visiting family. Even before I got to Wadi Rum, he was messaging me, checking in, and guiding me through my commute so I never felt alone or unsure. The second I stepped off the bus, I just knew it was him waiting for me — his energy was that warm and kind. Before heading to the camp, Eid stopped to let me grab food and drinks, then invited me into his home where he patiently walked me through different tour options on his iPad. What I loved most was that he was never pushy — just genuinely wanted me to pick what I wanted. Once I chose, I was off to the camp with Ata, my guide, and Marwan, our driver. Ata and Marwan made the Wadi Rum tour unforgettable. We laughed, we shared stories, and Ata somehow doubled as a professional photographer — taking some of the most stunning photos and videos I have of my trip. The highlight? Watching the sun melt into the horizon from the top of a mountain. Absolutely magical. Back at camp, Sayed had prepared a huge, delicious dinner that honestly blew me away. Unforgettable experience

We truly recommend this camp. They are very welcoming and friendly - make you feel like part of family. Nice location of the camp as bit secluded to give you the best experience of stargazing without the need to book any additional tours. Directly from your room you can also enjoy the sunrise :) food is also great and you can try local cuisine. South and north tours are also nicely organised, you can enjoy them at your own pace and without any rush. Unforgettable experience.

Before our stay, Eid - the owner of the camp - got in touch to give detailed descriptions of the activities on offer, and to find out exactly what my partner and I wanted from our trip. Upon arrival in Wadi Rum we were treated by Eid & his nephew (who also works at the camp), Ata, who bought us snacks at the local market. We were then welcomed into Eid’s home where he explained the details of the camp and the excursions we’d be doing. Then, we were taken into the desert to the camp itself. Location: nestled between two protruding bits of mountain, the camp is secluded. You have everything you need on site so the remoteness isn’t an issue; you’re in a serene part of the Wadi Rum desert which offers amazing views and incredible star gazing with no light pollution. Bubble tents: comfortable, great size, nice bathroom with private toilet and shower. Clean, effective air conditioning and an incredible view from the big windows. The excursions: Eid and his team (family) will help you organise everything, from jeep tours of both key areas of Wadi Rum (4+ hrs each), to hot air balloon rides. You need at least two nights to enjoy the true beauty of Wadi Rum. The staff: we were accompanied on jeep tours by members of Eid’s family; in our case, namely Ata and Marwan. They were enthusiastic, knowledgable about the area and made us feel as though we were getting a truly authentic tour of the area. The food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared on site and served FRESH every day.

We had a fantastic stay at Wild Oryx Camp in Wadi Rum. Our host, Eid, was not only welcoming but also an excellent guide and storyteller. He clearly communicated the agenda, explained our options for excursions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was decent, and the camp itself exceeded our expectations. The two domes we stayed in had plenty of space for our group of eight, the bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were air-conditioned, a huge plus in the desert heat. One of the best aspects of Wild Oryx Camp is its location. It’s set further into Wadi Rum, surrounded by beautiful desert landscapes, unlike some other camps we passed that were closer to the roads and city. If you are looking for a more remote and authentic setting, this is it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Wild Oryx Camp to anyone visiting Wadi Rum.

We loved our stay in the desert. The camp was small and very friendly - the staff were great - all managed to communicate in English despite it not being their first language. The view of the starts and the Milky Way was unforgettable. Downsides - it’s probably not a 5* as advertised, and the bathroom was basic but clean. Though the beds were very comfortable. I don’t think this detracts from the experience / it will be one of our most memorable trips. The pick up was odd - there was a lot of driving on the road in the back of an open jeep which didn’t feel safe - though eventually we got to the desert and that was better, though unexpectedly we stopped at the owner’s own house for a briefing which I would have expected at the camp itself. Overall - great location, great staff, great bedroom space and view of the desert, bathroom pretty basic. Food was lovely. I would recommend this camp if you are looking for something more personal.

It was wonderful. Eid -the owner gave us an orientation at his place where we left our car, and we left with Moutaz (hope im spelling correct :)) for the camp. As we arrived in the afternoon and we had only one night, we had our tour before reaching the camp. We were travelling with our 22 months old baby, and they made us feel very welcomed and suggested activities considering our limitations. In the camp there were 5 bubbles and its natural stargazing without paying for it when you take your chairs outside. Or seat in the seating area in front of the restaurant area. Ramadan who made the food and service was very kind and responsive. The bubbles were clean and had all what u needed for. We enjoyed our time a lot. Very much recommended.

An amazing experience!

Why should you choose this camp when there are literally hundreds to choose from? It’s simple. It’s safe, clean, beautiful and an experience like no other. Eid (host) and his family (including his nephew Motaz) are two of the most welcoming and friendly people my husband and I have ever met. This a true family run camp and every detail was taken care of from being able to park our cars at his property and bring driven into the desert on a 4x4 to a wonderful tour, sunset tea and finally a delicious dinner. Everything we wanted was taken care of and we felt well taken care of. My husband and I have travelled over the world and it’s one our favourite experiences together. I have already recommended this camp to so many people. We felt so safe and welcome in Jordan too. I can’t wait to come back!
