A localização é boa, está no centro. O problema de Joanesburgo é que a iluminação durante a noite é fraca, então, tenham cuidado ou evitem de andar à noite....

"A very good hotel with large and clean rooms of international standard just across the street from the Rosebank mall.
We went to South Africa on Holiday and wanted to start out with a 'safe choice' of hotel, and we got that. The hotel also arranged pick-up from airport (which was only approx. 100 ZAR more than an off the street taxi would cost).
However a bit expensive!!
I would stay there again, but I would likewise consider to going for a cheaper option ..."

- I was looking for an outlet and had to move the night stand. It was not a pleasant view with the dust under there
- I got a room on the 1st floor and it was insanely noisy as it was literally and open space to the bar and reception. Needless to say, it was difficult to sleep due to late and early noise levels.
- I asked for a late check out as my flight was a bit later, and after 10 days of stay they wanted to charge me quite a high fee. Not the...

We had forgotten to organise dinner in advance, but the chef on site went above & beyond to cook us up the most delicious vegetarian curry. "Good hotel for layovers with bar and restaurant. No check in information was provided, so unclear if they had shuttle service or not. The hotel has a free shuttle, a bit difficult to find as Tambo has the worst signs ever and you have to juggle official and unofficial porters insisting to show you and take your bags, looking for a tip. Once you find the shuttle, everything is smooth sailing. The room could do with a Nespresso machine. Otherwise quite comfortable and bigger than expected. "

Hotel is in good condition, but not really cosy at all.
They could definitely upgrade their outdoor furniture. Everything is hard plastic and not comfortable at all.

Tilsidesat får jeg en taxa og han køre mig til hotellet hvor der ingen respons er jeg er helt alene på gaden i Johannesburg efter dette alle hoteller i lufthavnen er fyldte så jeg er nød til at tilbringe natten foran lufthavnen. "The service at this hotel is completely unacceptable.
At check-in, an employee assisted us with the kiosk system and ultimately asked us to pay, even though we had already paid through Hotels.com. This resulted in us paying twice. When we pointed out the mistake shortly after, we were asked—after some back and forth—to wait until the following morning, as only the manager could handle a refund. Despite the error being on the hotel's part, we received neither a proper apology nor any understanding for the time and money we lost due to exchange rate fluctuations.
The next morning, we got up early to catch the manager and went through several formalities before the amount was finally refunded. As expected, we had lost money due to the exchange rate difference. It’s not the amount that matters, but the principle that the hotel didn’t take proper responsibility, failed to apologize, and provided inadequate service despite the time and money we lost.
An apology and some form of compensation would have been appropriate – instead, we were met with indifference and a lack of understanding."
