"DVD player was still broken, wifi weak, which meant minimal access to streaming tv. Email link for location still wrong and ended up in middle of no where in night. Bedroom is beside carport with only access from outside. Must remove garbage on our own. Clean main space, 15 mins from volcano national park. "

"What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this cute tiki cottage. The hosts had Hawaiian music playing when first arrived which was a really nice touch. Very well maintained grounds, beautiful flowers throughout. The tiki decor in the house was so fun and very well done. We had a relaxing evening on the lanai listening to the rain and kept cozy with lots of blankets because it does get cold at night. There was a heated mattress pad on the bed which was lovely. "I didn’t actually stay there. I had reserved the entire property in may and december23, the Monday before we were supposed to arrive the owner said they were no longer able to accommodate us. They asked me to cancel the stay in order to receive a refund and didn’t answer any calls or emails for help in finding an alternative. Vrbo gave me a credit but was unable to help secure lodging at the last minute (we were already on the island). The volcano erupted Monday so maybe that had something to do...
