"I'm now thinking of other reasons to come to Martinsville just to stay here! A very beautiful and inviting property. Loved using the common areas and cooking in the kitchen. The tomatoes from the garden are delicious! The innkeeper has provided so many thoughtful touches to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Amazing snack tray in our rooms made us feel pampered. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows of all firmness and most importantly comfortable mattresses made for grrat sleeping....

"This is not a luxurious hotel, but is a very reasonably priced place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay for a day or two. It’s older, but clean. "It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's got it where it counts. The ribs were clean and well maintained as were the grounds outside. Beds and pillows were comfy. The place was quiet and felt safe. The management were friendly and cared about our comfort. The price was reasonable. It was much better than others in the area at this price point. Easy to find. Close to a few restaurants and stores. I would definitely return. "

"Me and my sport team of 28 people stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The service at the front desk (Sam) was more than accommodating.
