Our room was comfortable and a good size, quiet with the shutters closed. A continental breakfast was provided in the room and we had a fridge which was a bit noisy but couldn’t hear anything with my earplugs in.

På Casa Cuseni bliver man budt indenfor i en tidslomme og kan for en tid tro at tiden er skruet tilbage . Fantastisk oplevelse ! "Vi var så heldige at få en dejlig opgradering, så selve værelset var super hyggeligt og lækkert indrettet og med god plads. Badeværelset var beskidt og sengene utellig dårlig. Man lå i midten og havde næste ingen mulighed for at komme op af hullet igen.
Vi ha de svært ved at finde parkeringen, og måtte derfor runst to gange. 2. Gang mødte vi den flinkeste servicemedarbejder, så fulgte os hele vejen frem. Hvem han er ved jeg ikke, men han er klart ALLE sine lønkroner værd. Han kører rundt i en Piaggo og er vel melle 25- 35 år gammel. "

Vores værelse havde en fantastisk udsigt til Etna, og ud over området. Værelset bar præg af, det har været grandiøst for år tilbage, men nu er lettere brugt, men stadigt luksuriøst i dag. Men enkelte ting kunne trænge til en lettere opgradering. Men et fint hotel, men et særdeles serviceminded personale, både i receptionen, restauranten og poolområdet. Stadigt et 5* ophold i særdeles fantastiske omgivelser."
"Staff was generally really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with healthy alternatives to the sweets traditionally served for breakfast in the area. Rooms are small and the bathroom was worn with the toilet leaking (clean) water and a total lack of water pressure in the shower. The rooftop area is fine but the pool is a lot smaller than in the pictures. Public parking is 600 meters away, and stopping near the hotel to drop off your baggage is a challenge. Stop at the NH hotel, drop off luggage and then take the car to the parking. Do not drive down the little street of the hotel unless you have a relatively small car and you love reversing in very narrow streets with parked motor bikes on one side and a massive stone wall on the other :-). The hotel is not expensive so I'd say there is a reasonable balance between price and quality. "

Sal og havde foran balkonen dårligt udsyn til havet og svarede IKKE til billedet på bestillingen. I receptionen var svaret ad to omgange lidt vævende; ‘billedet er gammelt og bygningen foran er kommet til siden’ og ‘jeres værelse er den rigtige kategori, og I har bare været lidt uheldige’.
Deres råd var at ringe i forvejen for at sikre os, at vores værelse svarer til det, vi havde bestilt. Men burde man ikke kunne regne med, at man får det værelse, man har bestilt?
