"Un très bon établissement dans lequel nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire qui parle parfaitement français. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer le domaine et ses environs. La villa très récente est très bien équipée pour passer un excellent séjour au calme. La piscine était également très bien. Pour le petit déjeuner, le propriétaire était aux petits soins selon nos désirs. Nous n'avons hélas pu que passer une nuit mais nous reviendrons."

"Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! "A fine place to stay, but it’s PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed."

"All staff were amazing from our check in to bar service to dinner service. I had a massage which I would highly rate. Otavio and Bruno really stood out for us and went the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room and lots of lovely hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone."

"Wir hatten eine super schöne und erholsame Zeit im TheVagar. Wir haben neben einem sehr guten Frühstück, welches man sich am Tag zu vor immer neu zusammenstellt, auch das Abendessen sehr genossen. Wer einfach ein paar Tage abschalten will ist hier genau richtig. Hottub, Pool, Lagerfeuer am Abend, Massage alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben sogar noch spontan verlängert und eines der Shelters gebucht, die ebenfalls auf dem Gelände sind. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch."
