Fantastisk beliggenhed nær Esquimalt Lagoon og Royal Bay badebyer, Pearson College of the Pacific, Royal Roads University og Westshore Brooks School, Galloping Goose vandre-og cykelsti, samt mange indkøbsmuligheder fra boks butikker til maleriske nabolaget bistroer. Downtown Victoria er tilgængelig med bus eller bil i en nem 30 minutters kørsel, og busstoppestedet ligger en kort gåtur væk. Mange sports muligheder er tilgængelige fra fiskeri (sø eller hav), golf (Royal Colwood og Olympic View Golf Clubs er 5 minutter væk, Highland Pacific og Bear Mountain Golf Resort er 15 minutter væk), samt vandreture og cykling. The perfect place

This was larger than expected, very clean, with a lot of amenities. communication was great and very friendly. The view was beautiful, we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in the flowers. We would love to stay here again when we’re visiting the area. And personal touches made us feel very special.

Host was very attentive and helpful when asked.The space is like a small house/apt and self sufficient. Loved the windows but you don't get a lot of privacy except the master. The bath is visible from great room, as the great room does not have any window coverings, not even electric blinds (which would be useful with the hot/warm morning summer sun).Don't use WAZE to get anywhere from the property, it didn't play nice and took us way out of our way a couple of times, costing us time. We had a comfortable stay and I liked the desk area and the kitchen!!Thank you.

This listing is a scam and this host preys on out of the country travelers who are completely vulnerable to his lies. Book here at your own risk.1)There are no twin beds and there's no living room. The first photo on this listing has been cleverly taken to show a space much bigger than it actually is. You get 2 rundown folding cushions and have to stack the dining furniture in order to sleep in the kitchen floor.2) Mattresses were very uncomfortable, all stained and encased in stained plastic covers.3) Many outlets don't work, with some getting our 5w phone chargers really hot. Some windows don't work either and come crashing down.4) You can hear everything from the street and the apartment upstairs.5) Blinds were broken and so dirty you could write on them.6) Even with the heater off and weather being cold, this apartment is stifling hot. There's no AC and the only way to get some air is to open all the windows (propping the ones that crash down) the problem is that during our stay, a bunch of adults gather infant of the building to smoke, so you have to choose between the smell of cigarettes and second hand smoking or the stifling heat.7) Eventhough we followed the check out instructions to the letter and left the place as we found it, the host has not returned our deposit and has not responded to our request to get a refund.At the time of this review, we have filed a complaint through VRBO against this listing.

Beautiful view!

I had a great stay at Ruth's! This is a spacious suite with a beautiful view! I loved the thoughtful gift basket with Ruth's own homemade goodies plus wine. I did see Ruth in passing but not long enough for a proper conversation. Minimal to no noise transfer and always perfect quiet times for sleep. I did notice a few spiders but there were insect traps in all corners. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is extra bedding, towels and blankets if needed. There was a second bedroom with a single bed that I did not need or use. This vrbo is excellent and I would recommend it!

Quiet Neighborhood.

We liked staying in this quiet neighborhood. The location was optimal for our plans. The airport and the ferry were easily reached from here. The property was clean and quiet.

It is a beautiful place , really the pictures was exactly what it was, the host of the property was great if there was a problem at all which i didn't find it bad at all there was a few spiders but this time of year expected, and the lady, took care of that issue , i would stay there again in a heart beat , it was a 5 star as far as we were concerned

Nice views but not worth the price tag

The property is located in the downstairs part of a lovely house on the mountain. If you arrive at night, be prepared to haul your luggage down wooden stairs into a dark backyard. The place is very clean, well-kept and welcoming once inside. The second bedroom is very small. The mattress in the master bedroom is not great; my hubby ended up sleeping on the couch due to the discomfort. There are no curtains in the living room or kitchen, which accentuates the views but in the morning, the sun blazes in and really heats the place up. There's no air conditioning, and the standing fans do little to cool the place down. It also means that the gardener can see you in your pjs as you are getting your morning coffee, which happened on the second morning. My biggest complaint is the wolf spiders. They seemed to be mostly in the bathroom and living room. We trapped and released at least 5 over our 4 night stay; the last one was on my towel the morning we were checking out. I couldn't wait to leave!

We had a wonderful time in Ruth’s suite. It had everything we needed. The place is spacious, bright and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Ruth was a nice host, thoughtful with many little attentions. We would be happy to come again and recommend it without hesitation.

Perfect experience!

This is a luxury experience! The location out-of-town (with views across to Victoria ) shouldn't worry you- the buses into town work like clockwork. The property is so well-equipped, with cupboards containing all sorts of extras. The second bedroom is more than a den - a proper room. Gifts of wine and biscuits were much appreciated as was the stock of tea, coffee, laundry liquid, oil, etc. The only thing that I would change is that while the mattress on the main bed is comfortable, it is quite soft, so there was an element of 'roll together' ! We have rarely stayed in self-catering accommodation as fabulous as this one. Huge thank you to the hosts - we presume they lived upstairs though didn't meet them.

Amazing place to stay

This was one of the best vacation rentals we had the pleasure of staying. Ruth was so accommodating and the suite is beautiful. It had everything we needed and more! It is close to so many cool places to check out. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Victoria. Thanks again Ruth!

I was doing major repairs to my foundation and needed a place for my tenants to stay while the work was being done. While I wasnt the guest, I know the hosts took great care and were very patient! It is a lovely place with caring hosts - thank you!

Amazing stay. Fabulous home

I can’t say enough about this beautiful home. We arched the full moon rise and then the next morning saw the sunrise. Very comfortable, clean and exceptionally well-equipped. Ruth responded immediately with our questions. Located near all the things we wanted to do- hike, pickleball, stand up paddle boarding and visiting downtown ( 30 minutes away. Loved it all. Thanks a million, Ruth.
