  • Located in Metchosin, just 30 minutes to Victoria or Sooke. Hidden Pond's luxury Gong Suite is the perfect romantic or family getaway for anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Spacious, two rooms with private entrance, basic kitchen facilities, luxury king bed, sofa bed, tastefully furnished with two sitting areas overlooking an amazing forest view makes this perfect for a couple or family. The suite includes the use of a hot tub, firepit, and just a short walk to our private beach, spring-fed swimming pond, orchard, and forest trails. The suite has a full-size bathroom with tub and shower, Air conditioning, Internet, TV, and basic kitchen (BQ with side-burner, kettle, coffee maker, breakfast grill, toaster oven, microwave, full-size fridge, sink and basic and spices and kitchen supplies. ) Pet-friendly and short and long stay rates are available.

    Please note this suite has stairs and it is a walk down to the pond , so this might not be a great option for anyone who has mobility issues.

What a magical place,the property was absolutely beautiful,and so unique especially the pond oasis. The accommodation was comfy and cozy we especially liked the gong. Very zen. The hosts were great and were super friendly,and helpful for anything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends we hope to come back again in the future.

Great if you love the outdoors! Note it does take up to an hour to drive back into town (Victoria) sometimes, but nearby town of Metchosin is 10m or so away too

Thank you Jo-Ann and Rob for such a luxurious stay! The place was clean and very comfortable. All the added touches made the trip very enjoyable - the fruit, baked goods, chocolates, the Gong, the beautiful interior decoration, the hot tub, and serene vibe of the property. We look forward to returning soon!

Our stay was peaceful and rejuvenating. We loved sitting on the sofas and looking out the windows at the trees. Rob was just a text away, and so friendly and helpful. The linens were high quality, and the water for bathing was nice and hot! It was just as beautiful as the photos.

We cannot express how great our stay at hidden pond was! Rob (Jo-ann was away) went way above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay, and he succeeded ten fold. The property is beautiful and there was plenty of space for our girls weekend. We did not have kids or pets this time but could see the potential for the best stay with your young ones and furry friends. Again, just the most fantastic hosts. Highly recommend.

Both rooms were beautiful and decorated with one of a kind artistic pieces. Hostess was excellent! Great communication for entirety of stay. Dog bowls and bed were a wonderful surprise! The pond and trails were so relaxing. We loved it here.

We loved everything at the Hidden Pond! Perfect for our family of 4 with our pups! So dog friendly, we loved hiking through the 10 acres! Can’t wait to come back this summer to swim in the pond. Host was extremely responsive and what a wonderful clean beautiful spot both inside and out.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The forest walk, the view of the forest from the comfortable and elegant living/bedroom, the many thoughtful amenities, the art, and the kindness of the hosts are unsurpassed.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Gong Suite.The space itself is beautiful — thoughtfully furnished and decorated with real care and intention. It felt immediately comfortable and special, the kind of place where you settle in and just exhale.The grounds were equally lovely. We made full use of the hot tub (a highlight!), gathered around the fire for dinner, and took the most peaceful walk down to the pond — exactly the kind of quiet that's hard to find. Everything was well-maintained and felt genuinely inviting.Jo Ann was an exceptional host — proactive without being intrusive, checking in early to make sure we were getting settled and making it clear she was available if we needed anything. That kind of attentiveness makes all the difference. It was equally lovely to meet and chat with Rob. Their trio of dogs were charming and full of character - very cute.A beautiful property, gracious hosts, and a stay we'll remember warmly. Highly recommend the Gong Suite to anyone looking for a restorative getaway.
