If you're playing golf, staying at the Westin doesn't get you any more value or deals playing a round of golf, because they don't own any of the sports facilities and like us they don't get any special deal or treatment either. If you're meaning value because they have a restaurant and spa at the hotel, you can as a Fairways guest still eat and be pampered at those facilities. We find ourselves very competitive in value in the local area, perhaps a little more research for a more valued hotel before booking, especially if not a golfer. Dear JoAnne, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Fairways Hotel. We don't advertise handicapped room, rather accessible rooms meaning the doors a slightly wider and switches are are at an accessible height for those ion chairs. We wish people would ask for help, as we are always ready to help with luggage, showing how to work tv's, coffee machines or helping lift electric scooters into vehicles. We don't mention anywhere about food services or amenties at the hotel, because as you say we don't have any. Though only steps away from us is Jack's Place, who serve breakfast from 6.30am to 11.30am and then the restuarants open till at least 9pm. Not all resort hotels have restuarants and amenties, as the resort has separate buildings for all of these. Classification of a hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis, the Fairways Hotel On The Mountain provides this and food services can be found close by or can be ordered through skip the dishes or door dash if the amenities at the resort aren't to your liking. Can we suggest a little more research into the property your booking and information about the surrounding area might help in getting that perfect stay. Have a great summer The Fairways team

Our housekeeping manager who does the check of rooms before allowing any guests into them, so she's wondering what was dirty and not perfectly clean. As there was a do not disturb on the door throughout the stay , housekeeping wouldn't come in to do any further cleaning. It's unfortunate that the recreation centre, with the outdoor pool and full fitness area won't allow our guests the use of the facilities without a major charge. We have approached the owners many times and they're just not interested in joining use, we're sorry this affected the stay. We look forward to welcoming you all back in the future!
