"Convenient to the Lake Michigan Car ferry. We missed breakfast as we were leaving early to catch the ferry, but a continental breakfast was provided - boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt and an assortment of cold cereal and oatmeal as well as coffee and tea. Our room was comfortable enough with a small private bath. Off street parking was provided. If you like to sleep in dark rooms bring your eye mask. Street lights keep the room rather bright all night. Overall a good option."

"Our one night stay in the Stable Suite was absolutely wonderful, however, we should have stayed longer. Chris & Jenna are the perfect hosts. So much thought and love went into the Cartier Mansion and their attention to detail is impeccable. Breakfast did not disappoint. I look forward to staying with them again. If you love exceptional hospitality you must stay at the Cartier Mansion. And Carson the butler is too cute!"

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

"The Park House Inn is a hidden gem! Had a wonderful one night stay, Nadia the innkeeper was super friendly and really went out of her way to tell me all about the property, the amenities, even the history of the place, as well as dinner recommendations! Having an espresso machine available to use at any time was phenomenal too, the outdoor fireplace area was super nice, and it was just a really cozy place overall, the room was very clean, the shower has amazing water pressure, and the balcony...
