"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"I stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Getaway and it was exactly that—super nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. Perfect for 1–2 travelers, maybe even with one kiddo. Kimberly, the host, communicated well, was attentive, and very friendly. My favorite part was definitely the porch—it made the whole stay feel extra relaxing. The place was spotless, and the location is great with good food within walking distance.I’m almost hesitant to share how much I liked it because I definitely plan to come back!"

"Loved this historic home located in a peaceful picturesque location yet minutes from so much to see and do. Great opportunity to expose grandkids to how things were 220 years ago and explain significance of a spring house back then. Sitting on the big porch watching birds and kids was a treat for this grandma. "
