"When we first checked in the guy gave us a room that the air conditioning was broken in and as I came back to tell him, the worker there said yeah that one's not okay so I don't know why he gave us a room that should not have been remted. Then we got a different room and it was okay but the hotel was kind of run down but very clean."

We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated. "The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. "Did a small girls night here and we had the best time! Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! The gas fireplace kept the whole place cranking with heat no problems Definitely would stay here again!"
"This home, the host, and the location are fabulous. The setting is quiet and secluded, yet extremely close to downtown. You can sit quietly on the porch, watch the animals & birds, sit by the fire and in 5 minutes be downtown for dinner, shopping and sites. Close proximity to many historic sites. The host is wonderful, enjoy playing with her dogs, the home is comfortable and well appointed and beautiful. You will not be disappointed."
