"This place is heaven on earth. The rooms are large and stunningly well decorated. The staff is amazing. It's run like a high end game safari destination. Lots to see on the property's large private reserve. You won't find the diversity and huge numbers of game available in Kruger, Botswana, Namibia, etc. This is more of a place for people who have already had their serious safari experience and are looking for a gorgeous property for rest and relaxing and feeling pampered."

"Located right beside a quiet, peaceful stretch of beach the setting is perfect with beautiful views from the dining room. Just a short walk away is the waterfront with all its trendy restaurants. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk to the main beach and strip of eateries. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely honesty bar. All in all a superb venue for a weekend. "

"Second time we stayed at Gonana, right on the beach. Nice firm bed, hot breakfast. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the bedroom to keep water cool on the hot day. Anytime self service upstairs at the breakfast/ lunch area. Definitely, we will be back"

"What a beautiful setting! I sat outside with a spectacular view of the mountains drinking my coffee (coffee press provided in the cottage). Then I walked to see the friendly donkeys and dipped my feet in the cool, clean pool and sat on the private, shaded lounge chairs. The owner is easily accessible and responsive to all inquiries. I recommend ordering the delicious and fresh breakfast to be brought to your room. Transportation can be an issue, so it would be best to have your own car to get...

"What a wonderful Apartment. Beautiful and clean with AMAZING views. The Apartment has an uninterrupted view of the ocean and we even got to watch the Whales from the balcony. The Apartment is huge with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cleaning lady was lovely and friendly and did our laundry when we arrived and everything was washed and dried in no time. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. It was definitely a highlight of our 2 week holiday...

"Great location, beautiful sea view. Quiet place. Good breakfast and great a’ la carte menu, we had crayfish. Oysters and sushi just top. Staff took us on bird watching sail trip to Berg river. Can recommend. Spa should be upgraded (staff & ambience). Drinks at Oysterbar need improvement. We had a great stay. Thank you. "
