"We had a great stay in Dannemora! The spot worked out perfectly for our group of 4 college students. The vrbo is very close to Mount lion which made it easy for us to go on the hike! The property owner is extremely nice and let us check out later than planned because our hiking. It is located right next to Dannemora prison which and there is not much in the town other than the prison...

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!"
