"We stayed in honeymoon suite for anniversary weekend. Very private and woodsy. Felt like we were the only guests which was very nice. Morning coffee and breakfast service brought to our patio door is a very nice touch and a highlight. Staff is responsive. The only thing I wasn’t happy with is we messaged the afternoon prior to departure to request 1 extra hour for checkout. (12:00p v 11:00a). "The landscaping around the hotel is beautiful and it is a short walk to the shops. The pool is also great with a big hot tub that helps sore muscles after a long hike. The room is a bit dated but large and has everything two people need in the kitchen for a light breakfast and lunch (went out to eat each night). The only thing that was not so great was the lack of housekeeping. We stayed for four nights, and it would have been nice to have housekeeping stop by at least once. "
