"We truly enjoyed staying in Jean's lovely house in the country for 2 weeks. The house had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay from kitchen utensils and machines, to washing machine, TV, aircon, internet, garden furniture, barbecue etc. Sitting on the terrasse totally undisturbed looking out on fields, wine etc and jumping into the private pool when we felt like it was balm for the soul. "The house has a light, spacious design and decor, making it easy to live in. We appreciated the outdoor eating area, especially the useful awning to protect against midday sun. The pool was a good size, with the robot cleaner working well, and there was comfortable poolside lounging seating. The house was overall well-equipped although some areas may soon need a refresh e.g. the kitchen units and the showers. The location is an asset. "We had the best time in this charming, quaint and quiet Gîte. The kitchen and BBQ were great to use and the whole place was well kept and clean. The river is right outside the grounds and there’re magnificent sunsets.Our host Roland was very welcoming and helpful with all his tips and recommendations regarding stores, restaurants and things to do. We were welcome to use the herbs in the garden and there’re bicycles ready to use.10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat "
