In the heart of the Tarn, the village of Vénès offers a perfectly central location to explore the department’s must-see sites. Within less than 30 minutes, you can reach the Sidobre with its legendary rock formations, the landscapes of the Pays de Cocagne with the charming village of Lautrec or Lavaur and its cathedral, the bastide town of Réalmont with its large market, as well as the episcopal city of Albi, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the gîte, you can also easily head towards the Montagne Noire and the sources of the Canal du Midi. The gîte Les Jardins de Vénès is set slightly outside the village, in the peaceful vegetable garden district. Adjoining the owners’ house but with its own independent access, it provides comfortable accommodation designed for a relaxing stay for two. The living area includes a lounge corner with a small sofa bed and television, a dining table, and an open-plan kitchen equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and both a filter coffee maker and a Senseo machine. The dining area extends into the veranda, pleasant in all seasons, featuring a large table and a plancha. A shower room with a cabin shower and a large washbasin completes this level, along with separate WC. The gîte is also equipped with reversible air conditioning for optimal comfort. The accommodation includes one bedroom: - with a standard 140x190 cm bed and a wardrobe Outside, several spaces invite you to enjoy the outdoors: a shared garden, a furnished terrace, a bright veranda, and outdoor furniture including a garden lounge and sun loungers. A washing machine is also available in the veranda. Parking is easy thanks to a private space nearby. Pets are accepted under certain conditions (upon request). A comfortable base in a peaceful setting, well located and ideal for both relaxation and exploring the Tarn.
