The waters are calm, clear, and shallow, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and playing. There are some natural pools that form when sea water overtops the rock walls and provide a natural alternative for those afraid of the open waters. This is one of the best calm beaches within an hour of San Juan, and a favorite of locals. There’s plenty of parking and lots of vendors selling food, drink, and beach gear to visitors. #puertorico

This house higjlighted an amazing first visit to PR. The gorgeous property and ocean views were unforgettable. We had two families with teens in our group and had plenty of living space inside and out. Lots of fun things to do with a large pool with slide and tennis court, but lounging was the top activity. Views of the shore with morning coffee were hard to leave each day. It is a non-swimming beach, though we still enjoyed watching the crabs crawling around. There are 3 wonderful swimming beaches within 10min. Cooking and grilling are well supported.John was a perfect owner and host, answering all questions timely and offering support when needed. We felt safe in the gated neighborhood, and the nearby town has plenty of food, bars, and grocery options. Being away from the busy city was perfect for our crew.We loved our stay in Vega Baja! Came away with a ridiculios number of postcard-worthy pics.

Oceanside splendor

This beautiful home has the feel of a private resort, including a very good sized pool with a waterfall feature, a seaside jacuzzi and private baths for 3 of the suites. Teens, millennials and seniors alike in our party of nine were all impressed with the rooms, amenities and location near some great beaches. This is a great location to enjoy the North Coast from Dorado to Arecibo, and inland to the karst area and central mountains. Definitely a top choice!

Puerto Rico Getaway 2025

Our group loved our stay here! The check in process was very easy (accessing lockbox for keys, gate codes, etc) and all instructions communicated. The entire time John was very responsive and helpful in recommendations and/or questions! After an exhausting day of traveling, it was nice to enter the home with a 6 pack of cold beer & soda. All bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper, shampoos, and trash bags which was so nice!The house itself was amazing! We spent most of our time relaxing outside, with a nice ocean breeze! Lots of games at the house: pool volleyball, big jenga, big tic tac toe, snorkel, cards, etc. All the beds were comfortable, and AC throughout. The house sits right on the beach; however, you can’t swim in the water due to all the rocks. There is an amazing “private” public beach we found less than 5 min drive from house or another more public beach option which was cool as well, but about 5 min drive in the other direction. For the house having 5 bedrooms and sleeping so many, we felt a coffee pot bigger than only 5 cups was needed! It would’ve been nice to have more Tupperware/cooking utensil options, but we were able to make do. The bathroom on main floor off the kitchen didn’t drain well, and would leak into the kitchen during/after use. We reached out to the owner though, and he immediately had someone come take a look and clear the drain - which seemed to do the trick. Overall, we had an amazing time, and are already talking about booking again!

Winter Vacation w/Friends

We really enjoyed the comfortable and expansive property. This was a perfect getaway to escape the winter cold and spend time with friends. We found John and the property manager to by be very responsive and helpful. We found some nice, close beaches and enjoyable restaurants!

Fabulous stay in paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The adults and kids (1.5-5yrs) loved swimming in the pools, especially the small pool right at the edge of the ocean. Truly magical. We all enjoyed relaxing in the various outdoor spaces and found the indoor spaces clean and adequate for our party of 10. The owner was super responsive and helpful with all of my many questions. We would definitely come back and would recommend the property to others as well.

Great stay in fully equipped house

We really enjoyed the house. The owner communicated well and responded quickly. The house has great AC in the bedrooms and common area, as well as fans both indoors and in the outdoor patio/kitchen bbq area. Lots of spaces to relax, the pool is sizeable and we got more use out of the slide than I thought we would. One of the highlights is the hot tub by the beach, very nice place to relax and look at the ocean and hear the waves. It’s not heated which is not necessary, and it’s partially blocked from sun by trees. One thing I appreciated is the house is well equipped with soap, shampoo, towels, silverware and cooking utensils/pots, laundry detergent. There is a cabinet full of spices and condiments, coolers for the beach, and a closet full of games, tennis/pickle ball racquets and balls, beach toys, pool volleyball net, a giant jenga, cornhole, etc. One thing to be aware of is the beach area is not really swimmable as it’s rough and rocky. But there are several nice beaches within 5-10 minutes. There are canoes and a paddleboard but you’d have to figure out how to get it to a local beach. Lots of great local restaurants, our favorite was probably Casa Azul. Overall a great experience and would come back.

Beautiful home and fabulous hosts

Our hosts were very communicative when we didn’t understand something about the house and we believe we got a great deal for this beautiful compound. The view was gorgeous, the amenities were many (tennis/pickle bar court, outdoor living area). We had an amazing time at our home away from home and would definitely stay here again! Thank you, John and Zinnia, for a lovely stay.

Mini paradise

Our family traveled to Puerto Rico a few weeks ago to celebrate what would have been my son’s 31st birthday. He loved spending his birthday on the island and dreamed of taking his four children to visit. He died unexpectedly last June before he could make this happen. So, our family decided to make his dream come true and traveled to PR with (2) two year-olds, a three year-old, and an 8 year-old. John was a very gracious host and responded quickly to our requests, including having the pool cleaned almost immediately after learning that an iguana had pooped in the water. He even answered the phone at 1:30 in the morning! 👀. The property is located in the countryside, it is a 50 minute drive from San Juan. There is a Walmart close by but you will need a vehicle to get around. The home is in a gated community and has its own fence and gate for extra security and privacy. The home feels more spacious than pictured and the grounds are well kept. The kids loved the pool and slide and the tennis court while the adults loved hanging out on the covered patio. The property backs up to the ocean but a large part of the beachfront consists of hard jagged rock and a lot of debris washes up onto shore. However, it was still a nice spot to take photos…just not for swimming. The owners made up for this by placing a jacuzzi pool where the property meets the beach. The view is absolutely beautiful on a nice day. Overall, we found our stay very peaceful and would definitely visit again.

Fabulous House On Coast

John ensured me and my friends had everything we would need for my 50th Bday. He provided a Birthday caked, Bottle of wine and a 13 pack of the local beer. Stayed with a few close friends and we all enjoyed the house and grounds. The house is beautiful and clean. The backyard is huge and the poo and patio area made for a great place for our group to enjoy ourselves.The owner John and his Staff Zinna were great and responded very quickly to any questions. I would 11/10 recommend this property to anyone wanting to have a great relaxing time

Best vacation ever.

Absolutely stunning place. This Ocean view modern house will satisfy everyone. Beyond the stylish rooms we were surprised by a big outdoor territory with tennis court and tons of palms. Outside grill area with music, tv, and drink fridge is a perfect spend time place at night. But the best thing everyone felt in love with was a huge 12 person hot tub right on the beach where you could enjoy sunsets in warm ocean water with a drink in your hand. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.

Another amazing family vacation

Staying at John and Teresa's home is like staying at your own private resort, with a pool, hot tub, tennis court and a spacious and well equipped home. The house is located in a gated community with friendly neighbors, and groceries, bakeries and restaurants minutes away.

This place is amazing. The view of the ocean the moment you enter the property seems like it's from a magazine. Making your way down to the house you'll get an idea of how big the property is - full tennis court, massive front and back yards (morning sun hits the front yard really well), a nice pool, and probably the best feature is the covered outdoor bbq area. We spent most of our time out here. it has dual grills with everything you need, outdoor ice box, hammock, and plenty of seating, including a small swing. There is even a nice outhouse bathroom in case you don't want to go inside, which we didn't. The inside of the house is great too - updated kitchen with everything you need, nice rooms (huge master bedroom), nice bathrooms with great shower pressure. Overall our expectations were exceeded in almost every aspect. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
