Valtournenche is a renowned town in the Aosta Valley, located at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn, one of the most iconic peaks in the Alps. The town offers an authentic mountain environment, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and trails that wind through alpine pastures and centuries-old woods. The strategic location allows easy access to ski facilities and hiking trails.
In winter you can go downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, while in summer you can go hiking, mountain biking and the suggestive Blue Lake, reachable with a short walk in the woods.
Summer skiing in Cervinia starts in June, great descents await you on the 3,500 m of the Plateau Rosà glacier, even in July and August. Spend the whole day skiing, chatting, photos, and packed food with a beautiful view of the pink plateau , plus the refuge has excellent cuisine. If you're lucky, you'll find national ski teams and other athletes who generally use the slopes of the Cervino Ski Paradise ski resort in summer to train even in summer.
