Located just outside Vallfogona, a very small quiet village, surrounded by nature, fields, woods and river pools where you can enjoy a unique experience. Situated in a rural setting with lots of trees and greenery and magnificent views of the area. Large garden on two levels, with different zones suitable for children and adults, and a lovely barbecue area where you can enjoy a relaxing break with friends or family.

The house is a 10-minute walk from the village. You get to it along a quiet road in an area with several other houses. The house is on a private 1000 m² plot, bordered by a small stone wall and trees, and there is outdoor parking space inside the grounds.

INSIDE
The house is arranged over two levels, although the holiday home is on the upper part. The entrance to the house is through the garden. There is a bright open-plan space with the kitchen, the dining room and the lounge. The spacious kitchen is at one end of the room, and has all the necessary utensils and appliances for your stay.

In the lounge-dining area there is a wooden table and chairs, a sitting area with TV, coffee table, sofa and board games. This room also has a fireplace (the owner provides firewood for guests to use). Leading off from this room is a big 9 m² outside terrace with wonderful views of the garden and the surrounding mountains. Equipped with outdoor furniture: table and chairs.

In the sleeping area, there are two triple bedrooms and a shared bathroom with bath, toilet and sink.

On the lower floor of the house is a closed area where bicycles and motorbikes can be kept. There are electric radiators and wifi throughout the house.

OUTSIDE
Large garden with grass, trees and different spaces for various uses. Area with a brick barbecue and wooden table and benches, a play area with football goalposts and badminton net/racquets for children and an upper area with stone table and benches, ideal for enjoying the cool shade in the summer or the warm sunshine in autumn. The house is located in a natural setting, so there are often cows or horses in the fields next to the property.

2 free day passes for the village swimming pool (700 m from the house) per person per stay in the summer.

LOCATION/AREA

The holiday home is in a 38 km² valley between Ripoll and Olot, 15 minutes by car to both towns. Vallfogona is a very small and charming medieval village, with a well-preserved old part and a couple of restaurants/bars.

The village is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is a haven of peace and quiet. There are many well-signposted itineraries for those who enjoy walking, with different routes to suit all levels. The area is also well-known for its mountain bike routes and is ideal for motorcyclists who want to enjoy exploring the mountainous region on two wheels. Its location makes it an ideal destination all year round, as there are activities to do in each season: in the summer or spring visitors can enjoy the fresh mountain air and can also cool off in the public swimming pool in the village or in the rivers and rock pools, in autumn it is the perfect place for mushroom picking and in the winter, it is close to the snow-capped mountains for ski-ing or going on snowshoe excursions.
