Farmhouse 'La Ferme De Chalas' with Mountain View, Private Pool and Wi-Fi

On a Permaculture farm, our gîte for up to 20 people welcomes you to an Ardèche stone house steeped in history.



In an exceptional natural setting surrounded by rivers and hiking trails. With its large south-facing terrace, garden and saltwater swimming pool, it's ideal for vacations with family and friends.



The gîte comprises a two-storey detached house and two former clèdes converted into charming bedrooms. The house opens onto a large south-facing terrace with panoramic views over the valley.



The main house is on 3 levels, comprising on the first floor a large kitchen with storeroom and a wood-burning corner with sofa + a dining room also with wood-burning stove.

-On the second floor, a double bedroom with sitting area + a triple bedroom with dressing room, bathroom & WC.

-On the second and top floor, a quadruple bedroom + a triple bedroom + a relaxation area converted into a "Japanese" living room + a bathroom & WC.



-La petite clède, on two levels, with a double bedroom + a triple bedroom, both with private bathroom and toilet.

-La grande clède, also on two levels, with two quadruple bedrooms, both with private bathroom and toilet.



For a total of 8 rooms with 6 bathrooms and 25 beds (if you are more than 20 people, please contact us to discuss this together).



Bed linen and towels are optional and can be prepared on arrival.



Even if we're very discreet, some outdoor areas can be shared with the farm's inhabitants (Maria, Hugo & Nico as well as two little girls Juliette & Nola): The saltwater swimming pool+ The terraced garden+ The farm store.



The mountains and rivers are directly accessible from the farm.

Numerous outdoor activities available (hiking, river swimming, biking, trail biking, mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding, visits to typical villages...).



Shops are nearby, and you'll also find a selection of vegetables, fruit and processed products on the farm.



La Ferme de Chalas is much more than just a vacation spot! It's a place in ecological transition with : A Permaculture micro-farm, a naturopathy practice (massages & consultations), an eco-responsible table d'hôtes, Permaculture cooking workshops & initiations...

Our cooking workshop with Maria to take you home inspired in the kitchen - From 25 euros / person.

Hugo offers Permaculture & Forest Garden initiations:

2h30 workshop to fully understand the concept and method of Permaculture design + a workshop to work on your own design and go home with lots of ideas adapted to your needs - From 20 euros / person.



Nico proposes a cultural stroll through one of the most beautiful chestnut groves in southern Ardèche.
