Luxury 4 bedroom holiday home overlooking the sea on Valentia Island

This modern home is located right in the village of Knightstown on Valentia Island just 3 miles from Cahersiveen and only 500 yards from nearby pubs, restaurants and shops. It has an abolsututely stunning setting right on the edge of the Island overlooking the Bay. You could sit for hours just watching the boats coming and going and the changing colours of the sea.

House Layout
Downstairs is a large sitting room area divided into two sections by a cosy and attractive wood burning stove between the two. The front of the sitting room has comfy couches and full length glass doors offering incredible views over the Bay beyond. These doors lead outside to the patio with a picnic bench.
The other half of the sitting room is home to the TV and more couches - so there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their break.
The kitchen and dining area are warm and welcoming. The dining table can seat 8-9 people and the kitchen is really well equipped and attractively designed while remaining entirely functional. A utility area houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a guest toilet downstairs.
There are four bedrooms in this home. Downstairs is a large double bedroom which is ensuite and has a walk in dressing area. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs. The master double bedroom is enormous, and similar to the sitting room, is split into to areas. The front of the bedroom has two brightly coloured armchairs to relax and take in the floor to celing views over the sea below. The large bed is located at the other end of the room and there is a TV on the divide between. This bedroom has an ensuite with a shower over bath along with a walk in dressing area.
The third bedroom is ideal for children and has a set of bunks with a single on the top and a double on the bottom and the fourth bedroom has twin beds in it with lots of storage space. The main family bathroom is upstairs with both a bath and a separate shower. In all, this wonderful holiday home can sleep up to 9 people.

The house has extensive sea views and is surrounded by a large open plan garden. The side of the garden has been fenced off for safety from the sea below and the entrance gate can be locked however young children would need careful supervision when playing outdoors as the house is located right beside the water.

There is a lovely pebble beach just a 5 minute drive or a 25/30 minute walk from the house called Glanleam Beach. For a Sandy Beach you can take a very short boat trip to Beginish Island, these trips can be arranged through the local tourist office
