Trainspotting movie toilet is real
I paid €30 per night roughly which is cheap but I would exoect the toilet and shower to work. The shower drain would not drain the water away. The whole building needs a refurbishment. It's a dump.

sorry somebody blocked the toilet but you could use one of the other 10 toilets and showers

The whole place was very dirty, staff unfriendly, very noisy during the night, no lockers in the room, the shower was just one big room with three showers that everyone just could enter. All in all a terrible experience.

The hostel was nasty. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years (probably the case). The facilities were either not working or in poor condition, staff was virtually non-existent. I find it sad how exploitative this property is of the housing crisis. Students with limited financial opportunities will take anything just to have a roof over their head, this hostel takes advantage of that and the price for the quality of the amenities is outright criminal. For me, this doesn’t even hit the bare minimum. The neglect of hygiene from the staff’s part is outrageous and morally questionable, profiting off of poor people and giving a sub-optimal experience in return is not a great attribute to have… I truly hope you’ll do better!

THE CLEANERS ARE COMING EVERY DAY DON T LYWE ARENT ABUSING THE STUDENTS THEY GET A GOOD QUALITY OF FACILITIES THE PROBLEM YOU ARE TOO OLD IN MIND TO STAY IN A STUDENTHOSTELADVISE TAKE A OTELYOU GOT A ROOM WITH 6 BEDS IT WAS CLEAN AND WE HAVE A FREE CANCELLATION POLICYWHEN WE DON T EXTEND GUESTS THEY ARE SAID BECAUSE IT IS A GOOD ATMOSPHERE AND THEY DON T WANT TO LEAVE

Unbelievable! I contacted the property on the Monday about possibly needing a late check in. The hostel contacted me 30 minutes before arrived at its door to tell me my booking was cancelled and I needed to find another hotel!

Digusting!!!!
This place is filthy!!! Understand that there are no bed sheets provided which is fine. However, they don't even clean up after the last customers check out! I was in the room with 3 other girls and there were around 6-7 beds. All the beds and pillows were dirty and had dust and stain on them. I had to cover myself with my jacket when I lay down. And there is no wifi downstairs. Wifi was accessible upstairs at the reception but not in the room. The kitchen is full of flies. yes, there is free breakfast provided, but they have flies all over them and is absolutely disgusting. The only 'tidy' place was the bathroom, cos one of the girls was staying there for months and was cleaning the bathroom herself. do not recommend at all. if you are looking for a cheap place to stay, id say just go sleep at the train station. at least it is free and cleaner!

dorry that you didn t like the place we have a free cancellation policy the girls in the room are staying already 2 weeks they like the place and 3 times a week the cleaner is coming they extend again thier staydon t be rude you had to bring your own sheets o sleepingbag with you

Zeer onhygiënisch. Waterleidingen lekken. Open douche. Het is geen studenthostel maar een arbeidsmigrant-hostel! Allemaal asociale mensen die daar verblijven. Ze houden geen rekening mee dat er mensen slapen en praten gewoon hardop en bellen zelfs midden in de nacht in slaapkamer. Heel slecht geslapen

It’s a nice no nonsense property. The owner seems to care a lot about her guests. There does seem to be a regular guest named Lynsey who appears to be a prostitute but she is not pushy and adds to the character of the place.

Mark Penne usawe are happy that you enjoyed your stay.But when you were looking for a prostitute you are in the wrong place.In the Netherlands you can find prostitutes in a brothel. Lynsey was not pleased from your attention. You are twice her age and not attractive.You are now on our blacklist because you bother also other girls

The way hostels used to be: not excessively clean; bring-your-own towel/sheet; not everything functioning; good location; working wifi; super cheap (relatively); and with tons of free food at all times. You can complain all you want, and/or be happy a place like this still exists.

案内された部屋が、まったく掃除されてないゴミだらけ。 仕方なく自分で掃除した。 前泊者のゴミや捨てたらしい衣類もそのまま。気持ち悪かった。 夕食も無料ということだったが、冷凍食品を自分で調理するので、食べなかった。

If you bring your own bedsheets, don’t want to shower and only be in the the hostel for sleep.. than it’s ok.

I highly recommend this hostel for ppl who want to travel cheap. There was bed, hot shower and free breakfast which owner bakes plenty every morning! And also there are free rice, pasta, milk, cheese, coffee, tee,,,etc! But There is no sheets unless you bring your own, or you can rent them from the reception. But I couldn't tell it looks clean. I brought my own sleeping bag so slept quite comfortably:)

That place isn’t a place for human beings to stay. And there’s a guy there who’s so so so disrespectful and arrogant. I strongly believe he may be abusing strong drags. Funny enough they sent me a mail asking me to bring a bed spread of my own. And the moment a got there, I realised I’m in for a surprise. I left few hours later to go and stay in a train station instead till it’s my time to go to the airport. I can send you a picture or a short video of the room if you want.

Siamo arrivati alle 21 e non ci hanno fatto entrare dicendoci di torciare un altro posto, tutto questo discusso tramite il citofono perché non ci hanno fatto entrare per parlarne meglio (visto che dal citofono non si capiva nulla). Expedia ci ha poi rimborsato la somma pagata ma è stata comunque una brutta esperienza.

you were speaking with a cellphone the reception is closed at 19.00 hours not 21.00 nobody is at the reception so why you should enter when you go to the dentist you can t come 2 hours too latebe on time than you were welcome not 2 hours tooo late

Es war leider unsäglich schmutzig - offenbar wurde nur selten geputzt; meine für 5 euro vom Haus geliehene Bettwäsche roch so muffig, dass ich sehr stark die Befürchtung habe, das sie seit den letzten Benutzungen nicht gewaschen wurde (obwohl es bei Nachfrage negiert wurds) - ich habe mich bei dem Aufenthalt im Haus richtig geekelt, obwohl die alte Dame am Tresen nett war, wenn auch kauzig;

Such a Great stay! The elderly owner bakes pancakes for everyone each day! Theyre amazing!! She even gave me food for the road. Kitchen is messy but I blame the "regulars" whos mothers didnt teach em to clean up after themselves. That said, they're great guys, and very friendly, (just slobs)
