"Unlnown to me it was a stay with the Uros people, an indigenous teibe. The room as suvh was OK, but you had ti request that the electricity be connected. No water in the shower cabin. Freezing cold after 6 am. Need for warming botttles."

"This stay is on a floating island in Lake titicaca. As an experience it is amazing. However, be prepared that they only accept cash, the rooms are not heated, our stay on October 3rd 2024 was extremely cold. Nestor is a pleasant host, and gave us a tour of Uros island on our way back to shore. Note that the showers have limited access to hot water, and the toilet is a dry toilet, also there is no WiFi and limited cellular signal. "Great hotel with lake view. Friendly personnel and helpful service. The place is approx. 20 min by taxi or bus (collectivos, if you don't mind to be squeezed with the locals :). Since it is outside of town, it is very calm and quiet. Perfect to relax if you want to use the local spa facilities (costs extra). The mortar in between the tiles in the bathroom is coming off, probably due to bad workmanship rather than old age. The bathroom is clean otherwise. (Jan 2013)"

"Amazing hotel and amazing staff!!! I would definitely come back here with my family. The only thing that was a bit inconvenient is that it’s located quite a bit away from the city centre so you have to take a taxi every time you want to go do something in town. But it’s super quiet here!"
