"We loved our stay at the Grandview Lake Placid. Enjoyed the powerful hot tub. Enjoyed the restaurant. Enjoyed a sitting area by a fireplace. The hotel location is excellent and the view from balcony rooms is outstanding. Dog friendly. The only complaint is that the toilets flush SO loudly that once people start waking up, it is all I heard. Earplugs fixed that."
"The annex, with the pricey suites,is vintage 1980. No USB ports, poor lighting, no elevator, no staff help with luggage. The only positive is the breakfast, included with the room.
There is no way , we will ever return to this property."
"Best view you can get. We booked a two bed suite on the first floor in the corner overlooking the harbour and the castle. Best location in town. Right next to the ferry to Boldt Castle. Really convenient.
