"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts.
I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect!

"On arrival, I was given a sheet of paper to fill in, but it was so badly printed that I could not read it! The room was spacious, with a walk in shower, kettle and tea and coffee. However, the wifi did not work for me, and the TV kept cutting out, but the bed was comfortable. In the morning, there was no water from the taps, so I could not use the lovely looking shower; I had to wash with water from the kettle, from the previous evening. "Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite.
Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious!
We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals.
