The area is in my best opinion dangerous for family travling, the nearby houses are empty closed up buildings with no one living there.
The sound from the street at night was crying women getting beaten by their boyfriends and gun fire.

"What a room! The only reason for the four stars was the carpet looked old and dirty. The room was nice it felt like being in a b&b. Todd was great checking in super attentive and the hotel was really detailed about how to access your room if you got in after 10pm. Best room I stayed in on my 8 day east coast stay. "

"It was a great stay...had everything I needed to make things easy...dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, full HDTV with a lot of channels, and even a bag of ice in a bigger than usual fridge...which was very nice. Very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the furniture/cabinets were in great shape."

"The night i stayed check in was smooth and i was happy to notice an Applebees and McDonalds in the same lot which was great for my daughters and I. Around 1030pm the room above me sounded like someone was jumping off the furniture and was going to come through the ceiling. I let it go on for about an hour until they woke my daughter up who was so scared she was crying. I went to the front desk showed her my audio recordings of the jumping and she handled it right away! I wish i caught her name...

"This was our second time staying here. We came around 12:30 (way early for check in) but the front desk was nice enough to let us use the pool (which was huge and clean) until our room was ready. We also took advantage of the hotel restaurant and bar beforehand. The bartender was great, she had good conversation with us and the food was plentiful and tasty.
