"This is an absolutely fantastic place. The experience starts in the nice lobby with a friendly and smiling greeting. I am glad we found this gem of an inn. Spacious and clean rooms and a great pool area. There is a couple of nice smaller restaurants across the street, and you can enjoy an evening stroll along the river. We should have stayed longer."

Bottom line, the BBC, ETC had to be contacted due to staff issues that terribly upset upset my adult disabled son, and myself."

"Arriving on a Thursday late afternoon no one was available to help us check in. We waited in the parking lot for about 30 minutes. (The lobby door was locked.) After calling the phone number that was posted on the window several times (with no answer) we decided to ask the employees next door if they knew if anyone was working at the Days Inn lobby and we found the Hotel lobby staff at the smoke shop next door. After checking in to our room we noticed the lock on the hotel room door was...

"Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. "

"Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!"
