"I wasn’t sure what to expect but this place was great. We have two dogs with us and it was easy to get them in and out of the room and there are great places to walk them. The room was really clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. Highly recommend. "

"The room was nice. Single traveller. First time in Kenora. The water is close by, just a 5 minute walk down the road. The convenient store, gas bar and restaurant are right there. Easy fill up and go for me. I enjoyed my stay."

"We really enjoyed the one bedroom suite! Having a kitchen and living room space is something we really like when travelling and this space was perfect. The balcony with chairs and a side table was a pleasant surprise as well. The free breakfast was good, from 5 am - 10 am which was really great, with all day coffee (excellent coffee), tea and juice!

"The “Backyard” is awesome and the Big Bear Tavern has good food, live entertainment, big screen tvs, pool table and slot machines to keep everyone entertained. The check in and bar staff are exceptional. Really appreciated how our ’fur baby’ was taken care of too - loved the basket of toys. Thank you Would definitely stay here again. "

"First time staying here, so was unsure what to expect, older facilities but well upkept, It feels like you're in an open space in the bush. Rooms are 1 bedroom apartments essentially. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I travel to Red Lake area a few times a year and this is going to definitely be my go to place."

"Room was good.however floor was sticky from too much cleaner been mixed with the water when they mopped I cleaned with a couple of towels and they were not white after. floors could use a good cleaning . Overall good stay 👍"

"You have to book in at another site across the road, but a sign indicating this is hidden by parked cars, making it confusing. The room was small but clean, the bed was a double, but the mattress was squeekey and uncomfortable. The price was low compared to other properties in Kenora, so I guess we received what we paid for. "

Looks unappealing outside, but someone is trying to clean things up and the inside is clean, with all modcons in unit, although somewhat elderly.: HasTV, microwave, coffee, bath/shower, 2xdouble beds. Not the lap of luxury, but good for nightor two in transit. Cheapest in Kenora mid-July and available last-minute."
