"A great place to stay! Historic and charming building full of character. My kids loved exploring and playing with all the retro games and toys. "This apartment was absolutely stunning by far one of the cleanest VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t have been better. The hosts were incredibly responsive and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning! And the boccerball was a fun bonus such a great touch!"

"The apartment met our needs. It was very cold when we got there, but we called and got an extra heater, which helped a lot. We planned to stay 6 nights, but only stayed 4 nights because of an ice storm. I think it would be a nice place for a weekend stay. We had to get a can opener and mixing bowls because there weren’t any in the apartment. Not all the windows had blinds. They would be nice to have especially in the bathroom. "This suite is the perfect size for a couple or very small group of close friends! Spacious for its footprint, tastefully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and close enough to downtown without the noise or the crowds! We walked almost everywhere, and aside from a small hill returning to the property, it's an easy trek... even with a few shopping bags!"

"This is a gorgeous victorian home, in a neighborhood full of gorgeous victorian homes. The maids quarters, with a separate entrance, are large enough to live in. Breakfast choices are amazing, and you have a full kitchen to work with for other meals. Bellefonte is a lovely town nestled in the PA hills, with several large creeks draining into a large stream that runs through the center of town. "This hotel used to be a 5 star hotel. The staff was not welcoming at all. They were all day in and out starring at their pc. Not a ‘hello’, ‘goodnight’, nothing, except for the night shift. The evening shift told me to in order to get ice cubes, I would have to go up on the 5th floor, to get my icebag. Then take another elevator to the 1st floor. Luckily the night security and night shift were customer service friendly enough to help. It is such a dissapointment from what it was. It was under renovation, and messes were left all over. Our first look had water seeping up from the floor ( we did get another one, not an upgrade, just another one) Our room was nice and new, but such a disappointment to what the hotel used to stand for. "
