"We enjoyed one night at this hotel on our way to West Highland. Good food in the restaurant and nice room."

"The room was spotless and very comfortable. Obviously the Hotel is in transition. By and by rooms are being prepared to welcome guests. Only 11 rooms are available to book at this point. The price per room is unbelievably low. Especially since the electricity bill must be enormous. The hotel was overheated and lights were on in almost every hall, lounge and room and stayed on during the night. Heating as well as the lights. No consideration was given to the ecological impact. "The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Wonderful house. I have had many visits to Nairn over the years and this is my #1 for Accommodation. Whole house was immaculate. Location right in the heart of everything yet peaceful right beside the river. Very generous welcome pack too. We booked again for 2026 as soon as we arrived. "
