The house is situated on the idyllic edge of the village of Übersee, in a cul-de-sac with hardly any traffic. The semi-detached house offers you a shady barbecue area on the north side with a view of a pasture - here you can watch the cows at dinner. On the south side, you can enjoy the marvellous view of the Hochgern (1,800 m), Übersee's local mountain, from the small sunbathing lawn.
Facilities & living comfort
The 100 m² holiday flat extends over two floors and offers you plenty of space for a relaxing holiday - even in bad weather.
In the cosy living room, a comfortable sofa set with armchairs, TV (SAT/DVB-T/S), radio and a small bar invite you to relax. The open fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere in the evening.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped:

The dining room with cosy dining area is directly adjacent. The bathroom with bathtub and a separate WC are also located on the ground floor.

The bedrooms are pleasantly cool - ideal for warm summer nights.
Outdoor area & leisure
The terrace, sunbathing lawn and barbecue area with garden pavilion around the house invite you to linger. You can use your own (older) bicycles free of charge and at your own risk in the bicycle garage. There is also space for your own bikes or ski equipment.
A bike hire shop for modern mountain bikes is just 30 metres away, and the landlords are also happy to provide you with e-bikes on request.
Location & surrounding area
Despite the quiet location, you are quickly in the village centre:
A walk leads you directly behind the house along the country lane to the "Hinterwirt", where you can enjoy a snack in the shady beer garden.
In culinary terms, you can choose between two Italian restaurants (4-8 minutes), a Greek restaurant (9 minutes) and a Mexican restaurant nearby.
If you want to experience something in the evening, take a stroll to Feldwieser Bucht (13 minutes) - several beach bars with music, deckchairs, hammocks and Caribbean flair await you there. During the day, the bay is one of the most beautiful lidos on Lake Chiemsee.
Here you can hire boats, canoes, pedalos or e-boats or take the steamer to the Chiemsee islands. Übersee railway station is halfway along the route, from where you can take the Bayernticket to Munich or Salzburg every hour.
For dog & master
Dogs are very welcome! A forest path for walking your dog starts just 30 metres from the house. The landlords provide an initial supply of dog waste bags and a dog cushion.
