"My wife and I had a most wonderful stay at The Oliphant. It's one of the rare hotels which live up to the beautiful photos you see on the official website.
Location: It's not very accessible so you need to hire a driver or rent a car. But the inaccessibility is part of the charm. The Oliphant is in a restored colonial bungalow that's over a 150 years old, and in the middle of the Oliphant tea estate.

"e to a misunderstanding with the driver, we arrived slightly irritated and tired after a very long drive on small dumpy roads. It only took 10 min and a warm welcome from the staff at The Governor’s Mansion to shake that feeling off. We had a lovely stay of 2 nights in February 2016. The whole place oozed of old British style and a feeling of being a welcome quest. Note that all drinks are included in the price.

There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "

Hotellet byder på lækre værelser, en fin terrasse og en fremragende restaurant med udmærket morgenmad. Personalet er meget venlige og servicemindede, og beliggenheden er virkelig god.
