Ballon tour is a must do. We bought ceramics at Berra Ceramic walking distance to hotel. We drove to Avanos for dinner and ate tasty local food at Bizim Ev Restaurant. "

"Ahiyan Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. First, it is easy to drive to and parking is right up front. Then the greeting we received was lovely. The area was explained to us and options were presented for things to do. The room itself was extremely spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect firmness. The shower was excellent- big pet peeve of my husband- his favorite shower of our one month trip to Turkey. Most of all the people who run the hotel are exceptional and go out of their way...
