The condo was very clean, the view is amazing, the location is perfect, the space was great for two adults and two small kids. This is pretty much the heart of the island and it was so peaceful and quiet. This is the vibe we’ve been searching for and I will definitely be back. I will be renting this condo again!

Property has a great location. However, there is zero to no water pressure in the showers. Although, there are 2 bathrooms only 1 person can shower at a time. If not, the other shower loses all hot water. There is not enough towels. A total of 4 bath towels is not enough. Also, you can't watch tv unless you have your own app sign in. TV says it has Xfinity but then you need a sign in to use the app. In addition, be prepared to walk up quite a few steps with your luggage and note, they are NOT all the same height.

Wonderful stay with a few hiccups but rental company was extremely accommodating and helpful.

The condo was very nice and comfortable located in the best location on the island. It was a very well equipped kitchen and furnishings were nice throughout the unit. It was quite spotlessly kept. I look forward to returning.

Perfect location but upgrades needed

The location was perfect, the weather was perfect, and we had a fantastic time! There was zero water pressure, and 5 of us, so we had to shower one at a time. There was also a step that is loose and was a definite cause for concern with 3 children. The dishwasher desperately needs to be replaced. Those were our only 3 issues! We really did have a great time! The property management was AMAZING, and were always quick to respond. Again, beautiful location!

Oceanfront Condo

Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals continues to provide excellent customer service! After driving all night, they accommodated us by getting the place ready quickly. I still feel like one towel per person is not adequate for a week long stay, but I just did a little more wash. I showered with a huge cockroach which was frightening, but not unheard of in the South. We fixed the sliding door because it wouldn't open. We fixed the master bedroom door lock after being locked in the room several times. The hallway bathroom door is nearly impossible to open/close. The new flooring is a huge (and needed) upgrade since our visit last summer. Hopefully the old denim couch will be the next one. We stay here due to location, location, location, but I don't feel the luxury of the place quite meets up with the price.

Excellent Location and Ocean Views

Overall this property is excellent! The location is excellent, right near "down town Tybee" shops, restaurants, etc. and even with Fannie's being right next door (and our visit during peak tourist times) there was no nightclub/band/traffic noise. The views from the balcony are spectacular and the main reason we chose this unit. The soaps (dish, dishwasher, hand) were a nice "extra touch", too, as well as the nice decoratively folded towels. I was a little disappointed that the bedspread and shams in the master bedroom were very stained and were removed for the length of our stay. As well as the sheet on the bed did not have deep enough pockets to keep it on the mattress and we had to put the sheet back on the mattress multiple times. Also, six bath towels is just not enough for a unit that sleeps six people. Especially considering the beach location and frequency of showers. In addition, and this is a very minor item, it would have been nice to have a TV guide provided so that we would know how to find our favorite channels easily. Again, overall it was an excellent condo, and I would rent it again, and I would recommend it to others, I just expected a little bit more based on the "luxury price" paid for it. The rental agency is exceptional and their communication with us was above and beyond my expectations! Thank you!

We love this condo!

We've stayed at this condo several times and love it! It is always our "go to." We love the location and the view! Literally, our only complaint this time was just that the carpet is due for a deep cleaning.

The condo on Strand was a perfect location. Condo very clean and great for two people. No complaints only that the drainage in the tubs and sinks were very, very slow. No fun taking a shower standing in your soapy water. (But loved the view).

We will definitely be back!!!

We had a great weekend at Tybee south beach. Parked at our room and never got back in the car during our stay. Everything you’ll need is within walking distance. Loved our beach view from the balcony of our room. Never wanted to go to bed. Enjoyed people watching and the breeze and sound of the waves were so relaxing. Very easy and no hassle booking or getting checked in to our place. We will definitely be back!!! SOON!!

We enjoyed our stay! The only complaint I would have would be the location. It was a little noisy and busier area than we like when we go to the beach. The public parking infront is always really full. We like a little more privacy when we go. Other than that the condo was fine.

Ocean front

Ocean front view, pretty view and relaxing view. Very short walk to public beach. Beach can get crowded at times. Great view of pier. Public parking is right in front of property and Fannies is right next door, not really noisy but very busy especially on weekends. Parking is always full (you do have a nice covered parking area for your vehicle however). The condo is nice and comfortable. Would recommend , owners & Tybee rental are very nice & accomodating.

In the middle of everything.

With restaurant and bar next door it isn't a peaceful place. Wonderful sunrises, beach was clean. If you like movies or TV in the evening this isn't the unit for you. A lot of Shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Mixed Feelings on Property, Overpaying for View/Location

Stayed Oct. 4-7, Property left me with good and bad vibes so I will briefly discuss for future renters/owner. First the Goods! First and foremost, EXCELLENT location. Small island with limited beach front views and privacy. This property gives you both! Beach/ocean/Pier views, right across from beach access, beautiful deck views, and 2 blocks away from the Tybrisa street where all the nightlife is at! Private parking (for 2 vehicles), 3 flights of stairs was not a bad climb, just a little bit of work when hauling up luggage. Condo is spacious, living room seating for 8+ people, large comfortable king beds in bedrooms, full shower/tubs, and of course double sliding doors onto spacious deck with 2 chairs and a swing. Kitchen had plenty of plates, utensils, coffee cups, pots, pans, blender, coffee maker.... no issues there. Now for the bad vibes.. Biggest regret is price. First I understand all of Tybee Island is a bit overpriced.. When I searched, a 2/2 was running $200-$400 /night after taxes&fees. This place was at the top end and I expected luxury because of it. You pay for location not luxury, but its also next to the bar that vibrates the walls when music plays. Next Cleanliness.. Property was okay, had that old/musty smell when entering. I did have to wash some long hair strands off the shower wall (shouldn't of been there but no big deal). Noticed after walking around condo feet get dirty, chalking that up to an end of season and carpets need more than a vacuum. Like other reviews property is outdated and needs general updating for the per night asking price. Lastly the negatives.. one thing you eventually notice is the 1/2inch gap under the front door. At first not a problem, but during a breeze and strong wind you hear the constant whistle. During our stay a fairly strong storm came through. When we got back to the condo a large amount of water had entered under the front door soaking about 4 ft of the carpet and made a puddle on the entrance tile. It turned into a job using all the towels to dry the carpet and shoving towels under the door to block the 1/2 inch gap to stop the water pouring in. Water also steady dripped from the double sliding doors inside the condo (have pictures and videos if owner/property renter interested). Fluke storm but turned into a cleaning job for us. My experience is not terrible and vacation was excellent.. still very relaxing. Just anticipated a bit more bang for buck when paying extra price.
