"Hotel is a little older, but very well maintained.
For an all-inclusive we were very positively surprised by the quality and selection of food - and the service was excellent across the hotel.
Only reason why it does not get a perfect 5 star rating is that we had a charge of 4.500 MXN (225 USD) on our room that we did not agree with.
The front desk agent said that this was something we have to talk with a supervisor about, "but they are all in a meeting, so you have to pay now"."
"We stayed at Hacienda Encantada on a last-minute reservation because our home nearby was being repaired. We live in Cabo and regularly spend weekends at local resorts, so we have many properties to compare it with.
A hurricane was nearby but forecast to miss Cabo, and understandably the hotel was prepared. As Expedia VIP guests, we were offered a higher-floor room with a better view, but it had already been storm-prepped with fabric covering the windows and all patio furniture stacked inside....
