"Great and relaxed beach hotel"

"Villa Romana is a stunning property with everything you need to unwind and relax. The staff was all top notch. The hotel is beautiful from the linens to the furniture and everything in between. The design is high level, feels like you've seen it in the pages of Architectural Digest. The gardens are INCREDIBLE with birds and wildlife all around. "We stayed for 5 nights while we visited our son. We had a lovely suite with an open air kitchen and seating area and unheated plunge pool that faced directly towards the ocean. "I came to this hotel outside the season when only a few people were visiting Máncora. The owner, Cristina, was fantastic. She upgraded my room to a great one with a jacuzzi and a balcony overlooking the beach. The view here is marvellous. If you are lucky you may even catch a glimpse of dolphins."

"The hotel it's clean. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. The location is not adequate, I didn't like it because the area looked dangerous and dirty, but it wasn't that bad. The hotel is near to the beach, you have to walk for about 5 minutes to get in. I recommend the hotel, you get what you piad for, just arrived with your own car, because there is not transportation near to the hotel. Extra points for the A/C."
