  • Welcome to The Grand Horizon, your luxurious retreat in Vail, Arizona! Nestled in a tranquil desert landscape, this beautifully designed, newly renovated property offers the perfect blend of comfort and style. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, grill your favorite meals, or gather around the outdoor fire pit. With 3 living spaces, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in the main house, plus an air-conditioned guest house with recreation area and additional sleeping area for 4 guests, The Grand Horizon comfortably sleeps 10 in true desert luxury.

    - Weekly and monthly stay discounts are automatically applied.

    - Pool heating is available upon request for an additional fee. Please inquire prior to arrival if you'd like the pool heated during your stay.

    - Dogs are welcome with a $99 pet fee.

    - The Grand Horizon is located in a peaceful rural desert setting. Native wildlife, including scorpions, snakes, bees (around pool), and other desert creatures, may occasionally be encountered outdoors.

    - Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old to book.

    - Early check-in and late check-out may be available for $20 per hour, subject to availability.

    - Firewood is not provided for the outdoor fire pit but can be purchased locally.

Beautiful home in pristine condition! Absolutely gorgeous views, and all amenities. The guest house with a ping-pong table was a very fun addition! Very lovely stay.

The place is amazing. It’s the last house on the road. The location and sunset view couldn’t be better. Even the paved driveway up to the house is noteworthy. The house was in perfect order and Phil, our host, was in touch throughout our stay. All necessary house info was provided prior to arrival. Though it can sleep 10 people comfortably, my wife and I enjoyed the solitude of this location. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Phil!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Yes, this location is really off the beaten path, but that was one of the reasons why we chose to stay here. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the outdoor area- was definitely worth the extra money to heat the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with the items that we needed to prepare meals and make amazing morning coffee! It was so peaceful to sit by the pool in the morning with a cup of coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. Side note- sunsets are amazing! Phil was a great host- he stayed in contact with us and was very quick to respond to questions that we had. Thanks a bunch!

Beautiful home and location. Unable to use the grill or the pool. The grill was very thilthy, broken wheels, no proprane. The pool had many bees making it difficult to swim. Phil really made all efforts to help but was limited on what he could do. He was very apologetic, but great communication and responsive . Again, beautiful home and Phil really tried to attend to our issues. I do appreciate his efforts.

We had a fantastic time at The Grand Horizon! The property is amazing! The house was clean, with lots of different areas for relaxing, playing and hanging out. We had family ranging in ages from 1 to 64 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The pool is wonderful. Heating it is a must if you plan to spend a lot of time in it. Floating, while star gazing is pretty incredible! I loved that the house was kind of isolated in the hills so it was quiet and the views of the surrounding hills and mountains were beautiful, as were the sunsets! Phil, our host, was great to work with. I really appreciated his quick response to all our questions and concerns. It made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place with us!

Sunrises were lovely!
A little hard to see, but a roadrunner stopped for a drink on top of the fountain. Lots of birds stopped by. It was fun to watch!
